Research On Social Work Intervention In Cultivating The Subjectivity Of Urban Community Residents

At present,one of the critical bottlenecks in community governance is the insufficient participation of residents,whose essence is the lack of subjectivity of residents as the masters of the community.How to enhance the residents’ consciousness of subject and participation,so that their subjectivity can gradually return to its place in action has become a problem that must be solved to solve this dilemma.Only when residents participate in the community extensively and actively can the ideal pattern of co-construction,co-governance and sharing be realized.Taking A community in Qianjiang City as an example,this paper uses research methods such as a questionnaire survey,semi-structured interview and participatory observation to focus on the practical process of social workers’ involvement in the subjectivity cultivation of residents in A community.The study found that social workers mainly carried out service work for three community subjects: First,for residents.Social workers mainly attract residents to participate in a series of community activities,explore active residents in various ways,set up community social organizations guided by their will,and encourage residents to participate in the community in an organized form,prompting them to gradually enhance their subject consciousness in action.The second,for community social organizations.Social workers cultivate community social organizations through incubation,exert their influence and role,and inject vitality to drive more residents to participate in the community;Third,for community organizations.Social workers assist neighborhood committees in improving the consultation and public benefit points exchange mechanisms,and take the system as a platform and channel for community residents to participate.Under the guidance and company of social workers,the three community subjects have good interaction and cooperation.Through the elaboration and analysis of the process of social work’s intervention in the cultivation of community residents’ subjectivity,the social workers mainly uses "empowerment" as the intervention means to integrate the necessary process elements such as will,organization,action,role,incentive and system,and has achieved some results.However,it is still a complicated and lengthy process to give full play to the participation role of all residents in the community and make the residents’ subjectivity come into being and thrive,which requires the joint efforts of multiple subjects.
