The problem of juvenile delinquency has far-reaching harm to the society.The criminal experience of juvenile stage is very likely to lead individuals to an deviant career and become an unstable factor in the society.For some juveniles who meet the particular conditions,the judicial social work under the conditional non prosecution system can help them eliminate the risk of crime and return to society.However,this group of juveniles generally have different degrees of self-stigma,which will have a negative impact on their correction,and may even cause some individuals to fail to pass the inspect.Based on this situation,this study uses cognitive behavioral therapy to intervene their self-stigma,so as to help them reconstruct positive cognition and behavior,reduce self-stigma,successfully complete correction and return to society.Relying on the correction works of juvenile suspects carried out by Q social work organization,the author intervenes a client troubled by self-stigma and has the risk of failing to pass the inspect.Starting from the social environment of the client,the author formulated targeted intervention objectives and intervention plans composed of four themes.With the help of two interviews and one public service,the client obtained the ability to identify selfstigma problems,and consolidated this ability in the next three months;at the same time,he got rid of the avoidance state of cognition and behavior,improved the relationship with his family,smoothly integrated into the peer group,excellently completed the correction task,successfully passed the inspect after a six-month period and reintegrated into society.Strict qualitative evaluation proves that social work intervention has achieved positive results.On the basis of the above case study,the author makes a reflection on the feasibility of cognitive behavioral therapy intervention,the combination of social work and cognitive behavioral therapy,and the social support of the research group.It also puts forward targeted suggestions from three perspectives: the exploration of intervention methods by the social work specialty itself,the combination of social work and juvenile justice,and the whole society’s attention to juvenile suspects and their self-stigma.It is hoped that through exploration within its ability,it will play a role of throwing stones and asking directions for more,richer and more perfect researches in the future.
