| In the process of China’s progress from an industrial nation to a leading industrial nation,the importance of higher engineering education is self-evident,and the quality of training of engineering college students,which accounts for 1/3 of the number of students in colleges and universities,is directly related to the development and level of this process.How to cultivate higher engineering talents with patriotism,engineering ethics,craftsman spirit and sense of innovation has become an important issue facing colleges and universities.In the "Guiding Outline for Curriculum Ideological and Political Education Construction of Colleges and Universities" issued by the Ministry of Education in May 2020,for the first time,the Ministry of Education put forward clear requirements for the curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors,which is an important task for engineering majors to comprehensively improve the quality of talent training,and it is also a strategic measure for engineering majors to implement the fundamental task of "establishing morality and cultivating people".According to the relevant requirements of the "Outline",there are still many practical problems of curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors that urgently need to be solved and breakthroughs.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to carry out research on the practical problems and countermeasures of curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors.Proceeding from the practical needs of curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors,researchers sort out and analyze the research situation of curriculum ideological and political education at home and abroad,clarify the connotation of curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors and its relationship with the ideological and political education curriculum,and explain the goals and meanings of curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors.Based on Xi’s important exposition on "establishing morality and cultivating people" and the theory of implicit ideological and political education,through empirical research and case studies,we focus on analyzing and pointing out five practical problems of curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors.Ideological and political points involved in the engineering professional course are not clear enough.Traditional teaching methods suppress students’ enthusiasm.Engineering professional teachers are difficult to put the courses to think about contact.Besides,engineering professional students think about blurred and confused in behavior choice,and ideal case library system is not perfect for engineering professional courses.The reason is that there are not enough factors such as insufficient matching of content and requirements,unsuitable teaching methods,and the impact of teachers’ professional preferences,students’ cognition being impacted,and school support not being in place.To this end,we have tried to propose solutions: dig deep into the five core ideological and political points of curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors,innovate the three major teaching methods,strengthen the training of the teaching team,strengthen the students’ ideological practice,promote the systematization of the ideological and political case database of curriculum ideological and political education of engineering majors,and improve the exchange feedback and evaluation system. |
