The guarantee of high-quality development in our country lies in top-notch innovative talents,and the core of the early training of top-notch innovative talents is to develop the scientific literacy of elementary school students.Scientific method is not only an important part of elementary school students’ scientific literacy,but also one of the important indicators to measure the development level of elementary school students’ scientific literacy.The scientific method has dual properties.The first is the practical attribute,which emphasizes that primary school students should use scientific methods to experience scientific inquiry activities.The second is the theory attribute,which emphasizes the pupils’ knowledge and understanding of the scientific method itself.We believe that only after primary school students have a comprehensive and accurate knowledge and understanding of scientific method theoretically,can they engage in scientific normative scientific inquiry activities.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to build a set of primary school students scientific method understanding evaluation index system based on the cultivation of top innovative talents.This set of evaluation index system includes two parts,one is the construction of evaluation index;The second is to develop evaluation tools.Based on this understanding,the two core problems that this study tries to solve are as follows:(1)How to construct the evaluation index of primary school students’ scientific method understanding based on the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents?(2)How to develop a scientific method understanding and evaluation tool for primary school students based on the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents?First of all,on the basis of sorting out domestic and foreign research results on scientific method,this study uses literature method and Delphi method to construct evaluation indicators of primary school students’ understanding of scientific method based on top-notch innovative talent training.The preliminary evaluation indicators constructed include 3 first-level indicators and 12 second-level indicators.Secondly,through three rounds of Delphi questionnaire survey,the evaluation index is selected and modified according to the opinions of experts,and the final evaluation index is constructed.The evaluation indicators finally established include 3 first-level indicators and 10 second-level indicators.The 3 first-level indicators are empirical cognition method(A),rational thinking method(B)and irrational thinking method(C).The 10 secondary indexes are observation method(A1),experimental method(A2)and simulation method(A3).Comparison and classification(B1),Analysis and synthesis(B2),induction and deduction(B3),Proof and falsification(B4),scientific abstraction(B5),Scientific hypothesis(B6);Intuition(C1).Finally,according to the above evaluation index of primary school students’ scientific method understanding based on the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents,this study develops an evaluation tool of primary school students’ scientific method understanding based on the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents.The evaluation tool adopts meaningful measurement methods and contains 10 subjective questions corresponding to 10 secondary indexes of the evaluation index.In order to test the effectiveness of the evaluation tool,the validity and reliability tests were carried out.In terms of validity,content validity and structure validity tests were used,and the results showed that both I-CVI and S-CVI were greater than 0.83 in terms of content validity.In terms of structural validity,after a semester of teaching intervention,the pre-test and post-test results of students in the experimental group showed significant difference,while the pre-test and post-test results of students in the control group showed no significant difference,indicating that the validity of the evaluation tool was good.Rater consistency reliability and intra-group correlation coefficient(ICC)test were used for reliability,and the results showed that the consistency of each index was greater than 80%,and the intra-group correlation coefficient(ICC)was above 0.80,indicating that the reliability of the evaluation tool was good.Therefore,the evaluation tool is effective. |
