As a key link in Chinese education system,college entrance examination is an important index to measure the teaching quality of basic education.In September 2014,The implementation opinions of the State Council on deepening the reform of the examination and enrollment system was issued,which clearly pointed out that the top-level design of the content reform of the college entrance examination should be strengthened and the proposition content should be designed scientifically according to the requirements of colleges and universities to select talents and the national curriculum standards.This policy document pointed out the direction for promoting the scientific proposition of the college entrance examination.College entrance examination composition is an important part of college entrance examination Chinese language test,and comprehensive investigates students’ cultural literacy and language application ability.Its propositional orientation can’t only reflect the social development trend and core values in a certain period of time,but also provide scientific guidance for senior high school composition teaching,is of great research value.At present,the composition proposition research of college entrance examination is fruitful,covering real-time research,phased research,strategic research,teaching research,comparative research and so on.However,in general,most of the research focuses on the first four categories.The comparative research on the composition proposition of the college entrance examination is still relatively weak,and there are few special studies compared with Taiwan.This kind of research was first seen in the1990 s,but after nearly 30 years of development,the latest research is still five years ago,so there are still a lot of gaps in the research.Taiwan and the mainland share the same language,culture and national sentiments,while maintaining their respective characteristics.By comparing in terms of proposition basis,proposition setting(proposition form,proposition content,writing requirements)and scoring criteria on the essay test of Taiwan and the mainland in the recent five years,there are many differences.Firstly,although both of them implement the concept of education and teaching documents in terms of proposition basis and maintain the same general tendency to proposition requirements,each has its own characteristics.Secondly,the composition of proposition is similar in terms of the form of proposition,but the test type of composition is different.The mainland is the non-proposition composition,while Taiwan is the proposition composition.Thirdly both of them pay attention to real life in terms of propositional content,but there are differences in context and emotional bias.The mainland emphasizes social context and rational thinking,while Taiwan emphasizes natural context and emotional expression.Fourthly,both of them contain the awareness of writing and pay attention to the combination of reading and writing in terms of writing requirements,but the writing perspective,writing content,writing identity and background,as well as stylistic requirements are constantly changing in the mainland,which contains the proposition idea that Taiwan lacks.Finally,both of them adopt the general scoring standard of grade quantification in terms of scoring standards,but there are differences in the scoring methods and scoring systems.The mainland has balanced scoring and follows the traditional scoring standards,which is stable,while Taiwan highlights the importance of the theme,and at the same time,on the basis of the "three-level and six-level system",the scoring principles are updated year by year to be more targeted.After synthesizing the advantages of cross-straits college entrance examination composition propositions,we can optimize the composition propositions of college entrance examination from the perspectives of tradition and variety of question types,rationality and sensibility of proposition orientation,openness and restriction of proposition content,system and focus of scoring criteria in the future.At the same time,in view of the guidance of college entrance examination composition teaching in high school,we will build a high school composition teaching system based on students,based on environment and emotion,guided by reading and writing,and promoted by evaluation.
