Experiential teaching conforms to the concept of modern education and is an important teaching in the current teaching reform Under the guidance of mathematics curriculum and teaching theory,teachers combine students’ cognitive rules and teaching materials to create teaching situations purposefully,and guide students to actively participate in activities such as observation,experiment,calculation,reasoning and verification designed by teachers,feel,understand and comprehend the results and applications of mathematics knowledge,so as to have a deep understanding of mathematics knowledge and enrich emotional experience The application of experiential teaching in the lower grade mathematics classroom of primary school can help students to learn mathematics,cultivate mathematics learning habits,develop correct learning attitude,and finally improve students’ comprehensive quality.This research takes the junior grade mathematics teachers in J City of Hubei Province as the research object,combines the questionnaire survey and interview method,reveals the present situation of the application of experiential teaching of junior grade mathematics teachers in primary schools,reveals the problems existing in the application of experiential teaching of junior grade mathematics teachers in primary schools,and carries out the reasons.Finally,it puts forward the optimization countermeasures to improve the application of experiential teaching of junior grade mathematics teachers in primary schools.The results show that there are the following problems in the application of experiential teaching for mathematics teachers in lower grades of primary schools: the lack of cognition of experiential teaching,the lack of deep experiential teaching design,the poor effect of single experiential teaching,the solidification of experiential teaching evaluation,the lack of reflection on experiential teaching research and the lack of relevant support for experiential teaching practice The reasons for these problems are the weak awareness of autonomous learning,the lack of professional ability and the lack of external support conditions.According to the existing conclusions,this study puts forward optimization countermeasures from three aspects: enhancing teachers’ awareness of autonomous learning,improving teachers’ professional ability and perfecting teachers’ external support conditions: from the perspective of enhancing teachers’ awareness of autonomous learning,teachers should strengthen theoretical learning and explore online learning;From the perspective of improving teachers’ professional ability,teachers should set up diversified experiential teaching activities,create experiential opportunities before and after class,innovate experiential teaching evaluation and make effective use of multimedia information technology;From the perspective of improving teachers’ external support conditions,schools should create conditions for teachers’ experiential teaching application and provide corresponding professional support.
