Teacher-student interaction is an important part of undergraduate teaching,which can positively predict the learning outcomes and learning satisfaction of college students,and it is of great significance to the educational process and teaching effect.Learning satisfaction is the concretization of satisfaction in the field of learning,an important factor in evaluating the quality of course teaching,and it can promote teaching reform.As a typical representative of theoretical courses in higher education,undergraduate ideological and political courses have innate political attributes and the advantage of "cultivating talent by cultivating morality",which are closely related to higher education quality.By sorting out relevant literature through literature analysis,the author defined the core concepts of this research and builds a theoretical framework.Taking the undergraduates in one of "Double First-Class" University(H University)in Central China as the research objects,a total of 906 valid sample data were obtained by means of questionnaire survey.Supplemented by semi-structured open-ended interviews with some teachers of ideological and political theory courses in H University and some students who participated in the questionnaire survey,the qualitative data and quantitative data were combined to analyze and discuss the current situation,problems and causes of teacher-student interaction and learning satisfaction of ideological and political theory courses.The main conclusions are as following:(1)Teacher-student interaction of ideological and political theory courses in H University in each dimension are different.(2)The learning satisfaction of ideological and political theory courses of H University is close to "relatively satisfied" in all dimensions.(3)Factors such as majored subject,birth place,personality type,grade,number of ideological and political theory courses taken,and corresponding average grades have correlation with teacherstudent interaction and learning satisfaction of ideological and political theory courses in different degrees and directions.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between teacher-student interaction and learning satisfaction in ideological and political theory courses,and each dimension of teacher-student interaction has different effects on learning satisfaction.After excluding the interference of students’ background characteristic variables,the three teacher-student interaction factors that positively predict undergraduates’ learning satisfaction are teacher-student interaction strategy,teacher-student interaction content,and teacher-student interaction form.In order to mobilize the enthusiasm of undergraduates to study ideological and political theory courses,carry out effective teacher-student interaction,improve students’ learning satisfaction and improve the teaching effect,the author puts forward the following suggestions: Firstly,teachers should understand the cognitive characteristics of college students in the new era,respect their personality and will,grasp their needs and expectations of growing and developing,pay attention to the differences between different student groups,and transform the role of "instructor" appropriately.By optimizing teaching contents,innovating teaching methods and enriching teaching strategies,teachers should devote themselves to ideological and political course teaching reform.Secondly,college students should attach great importance to ideological and political courses,combine self-education with selfmanagement,and increase their learning engagement in ideological and political courses.Thirdly,colleges and universities should implement policies and requirements related to ideological and political education and teaching,formulate implementation rules and strictly implement them.
