| Chinese textbook is an important part of Chinese curriculum system and also the main basis of Chinese teaching.The compilation of Chinese textbooks is directly related to the quality of Chinese teaching.The scientific arrangement of Chinese textbooks has always been the goal of Chinese educators.In the 1930 s,various publishing institutions compiled a large number of Chinese textbooks.At that time,kaiming Bookstore gathered a large number of book editors with the ideal of saving the country through education.They worked hard on the compilation of Chinese textbooks in middle schools,and groped hard on the road of Chinese education.Starting with Kaiming Chinese Reader,a series of middle school Chinese textbooks published by Kaiming Bookstore are innovativ e and scientific in compilation.This paper takes "Kaiming Chinese Reader" as the main research object,and tries to explore the characteristics of the textbook in terms of text selection,arrangement and reference system construction through systematic an alysis of the content of the textbook and its supporting reference books."Kaiming Chinese Reader" was written in that turbulent and war-torn era,which was bound to be deeply marked by The Times and also bound to have limitations of The Times.Of course,this set of textbooks written 90 years ago cannot directly guide today’s language education.However,studying the characteristics and limitations of its compilation can still give people a lot of enlightenment.The main body of the paper is divided into s ix parts:The introduction part states the research background,explains the research significance,analyzes the current research status in the form of literature review,and lists the research methods adopted in this study.The first chapter starts from the background of the preparation of Kaiming Chinese Reader,and explores the influencing factors of the compilation of this textbook.Under normal circumstances,the compilation of teaching materials will be affected by many factors,such as social politic s,economy,culture,educational trend of thought,etc.The Republic of China is a special historical period,the political situation is turbulent,the social trend of thought is surging,the national consciousness is gradually awakening,all have a profou nd impact on the development of education.The particularity of the historical environment endows the Chinese curriculum with unique significance.In chapter two,based on the close reading of six textbooks,data analysis and text analysis of the research object are carried out.From the distribution,content and arrangement of selected articles,this paper makes a research on the selection characteristics of Kaiming Chinese Reader.The third chapter makes a special study on the reference system of Kaiming Chinese Readers.Because of its age,the use of textbooks at the time is difficult to verify.However,"Kaiming Chinese Reader" is the first set of Chinese textbooks for junior middle school published by Kaiming Bookstore.For the convenience of teachers and students to read,Mr.Wang Boxiang,the editor of kaiming Chinese Reader,has compiled six additional reference books for this set of textbooks(see only the first three books now).Textbook reference system is an important basis for reading and teaching,and provides rich reference materials for teaching.The fourth chapter analyzes the limitations of kaiming Chinese Reader and its enlightenment to contemporary middle school Chinese textbook compilation from two aspects of text selection and compilation.The fifth chapter discusses the enlightenment of "Kaiming Chinese Reader" to contemporary middle school Chinese teaching from two aspects of contemporary middle school Chinese teaching and current high school "large unit teaching".Generally speaking,this paper is the first one to study kaiming Chinese Reader and its reference books,and the only one to make a special study of it.Compared with other papers on textbooks of the Republic of China,the innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in three aspects: first,when studying the compiling background of textbooks,this paper tries to analyze the economic factors of the Republic of China period and their influence on middle school education and publishing industry,which is not involved in many similar papers;Secondly,when analyzing the characteristics of text selection and arrangement of textbooks,the method of combining data analysis with content analysis is adopted,and the method of combining chart statistics with theoretical text is presented.Thirdly,it fully combines the textbooks of the Republic of China with the practical problems faced by the compilation of modern Chinese textbooks and the Chinese teaching in junior and senior high schools to explore its contemporary practical significance.In terms of theory,it organically supplemented the relevant content of the special study of Chinese textbooks in middle schools during the Period of the Republic of China.In reality,with the textbook as the clue,we dig deeply into the thinking of early Chinese teaching and its contemporary value.Due to historical reasons such as "examination and approval",Chinese textbooks of middle schools in the Period of the Republic of China showed the characteristics of large volume and different contents.It is a large-scale systematic project to collate and study Chinese textbooks of the Republic of China.A series of middle school Chinese textbooks published by Kaiming Bookstore are unique among the numerous middle school Chinese textbooks in the Republic of China.Starting with Kaiming Chinese Reader,a series of middle school Chinese textbooks and the relationship between the ideas and contents of these textbooks also need to be further studied. |
