Study On Interpersonal Skills Of Disabled People Involved In Case Work

The disabled are a large number of social vulnerable groups with outstanding characteristics and special need of help.With social progress,under the concept of "rehabilitation for all",policies and systems for persons with disabilities are becoming more and more perfect,rehabilitation services are becoming more and more diversified,and psychological,family and social problems related to disability are being improved,so as to stimulate the potential of persons with disabilities and ensure their fair participation in social life are gradually realized.A large number of disabled people due to physiological dysfunction,self-cognition and other factors as well as the cognitive deviation of the public,resulting in narrow interpersonal circle,single communication object,lack of conflict handling ability,lack of interpersonal skills and so on.Interpersonal communication is the basis of participation in social integration.If the interpersonal communication ability is insufficient,it will seriously affect the social communication of the disabled.Therefore,it is necessary to help disabled people improve their interpersonal skills.Under the guidance of cognitive behavioral theory,the case work intervention method is adopted,and combined with the current situation of interpersonal communication of disabled persons in D Street Vocational Rehabilitation Comprehensive Service Center,the case work service is carried out for disabled persons with insufficient interpersonal communication skills.The five-stage case service is carried out around the theme of "interpersonal ability improvement",so as to help disabled persons construct reasonable cognition of others’ behaviors and emotions.Training conflict management skills,etc.,improve interpersonal skills.First of all,through field investigation,questionnaire survey was conducted on the members of the Vocational rehabilitation Comprehensive Service Center for disabled persons in D Street by using Interpersonal ability Scale.The survey found that the disabled persons in the vocational health center had weak interpersonal motivation,weak emotional control ability,and insufficient conflict handling ability,etc.The reason was that there were irrational beliefs and low self-image in interpersonal communication.Secondly,interviews were conducted with the staff of the occupational health center in Street D,the disabled and their families to understand their interpersonal performance in the family and occupational health center.Thirdly,according to the results of questionnaire survey,interview and the requirements of vocational health center,four disabled persons with low interpersonal skills and certain cognitive ability and mental stability were identified to carry out services,so as to ensure the homogeneity of case services.Fourthly,under the guidance of cognitive theory,combined with the current situation of interpersonal skills and personality characteristics of the disabled,using the ecosystem theory to analyze their reasons and service needs,five stages of case service are carried out: establishing professional relationship with the client to clarify the intervention goal;Specifically explore the conflict issues to find out irrational beliefs;Disputing irrational beliefs and establishing reasonable beliefs;Build interpersonal communication channels to train interpersonal communication skills;Consolidate positive experiences to maintain learning outcomes.After that,the process of case service was evaluated by questionnaire and interview,and the result was evaluated by case end table and interpersonal relationship scale before and after test.The study found that cognitive behavior and ecosystem theory can effectively reduce negative interpretation behavior,and ecosystem theory can expand the elements of social support for persons with disabilities.The service effect of individual cases is seriously affected by the containment of the epidemic,and the "ethical" dilemma is prone to occur in the intervention process.It also proposes to promote interpersonal communication of persons with disabilities through case management mode,dig deep resources within the family to promote interpersonal interaction of persons with disabilities,clarify the responsibilities of social workers to enhance the awareness of "helping others and helping themselves",and establish boundaries for the profession to promote the localization practice of ethical codes.
