| Graduate education assumes the significant mission of cultivating innovative tale nts,and the quality of its cultivation is an significant symbol of China’s scientific rese arch capability. There are many factors that affect the quality of graduate study, and m otivation and commitment to learning are among the key influencing factors.Motivati on and learner input are strongly linked to the learning process and outcome, and moti vation is the key force that encourages students to face all difficulties and challenges. Therefore it is critical for learners to explore the achievement of high levels of motiva tion and learner engagement. This study adopts questionnaire survey approach and sta tistical analysis method to analyze the influence of master’s students’ learning motivati on on learning effect, and further investigate whether there is a mediating role of learn ing habitual input in this influence process to fully verify the inner mechanism of the i nfluence of master’s students’ learning motivation on learning effect, hoping to provid e consultation for improving the quality of graduate training. In this study,full-time master’s degree students from University H were used as t he research subjects.Firstly, the existing widely used mature scales were modified an d deleted based on the consideration of the characteristics of master’s degree training, and the Motivation to Learn Scale, the Learned Engagement Scale and the Learning E ffectiveness Scale were used as the research tools, and the data were processed using SPSS25.0 and the plug-in Process V4.0,and the collected 345 questionnaire data were subjected to statistical analysis approaches such as correlation analysis, regression an alysis, and mediating effects, the analysis yielded the following findings:(1)The moti vation of master’s students has a positive effect on learning outcomes.(2)Master’s de gree students’ motivation to learn positively and significantly affects learning engage ment.(3)Learning engagement of master’s students positively and significantly affect s learning outcomes.(4)Master’s students’ learner input partially mediates the effect o f motivation and learning outcomes. The above findings suggest that master’s degree students’ motivation affects their learning outcomes by influencing their learnerly engagement.Based on the above fin dings, this study offers the following insights:(1)Help students improve their self-effi cacy to motivate them to learn. This is done by starting with small goals and tasks to e nhance self-efficacy and by developing "aspirations" to strengthen internal motivation for learning.(2)Properly handle the positive interactions between students, students a nd teachers, individuals and the environment. In particular,we need to be proactive an d cooperative,to reasonably "increase the burden" to enhance the academic challenge of graduate students, and to make full use of internal and external resources to increas e the educational experience.(3)Provide appropriate institutional support for students’ academic development needs. |
