students’ feelings of home and country is particularly important.The author teaches history in a high school in Xiushan County,Chongqing city."Xiushan Lantern" is very famous in the local area,and Xiushan has its reputation as "the hometown of lantern singing and dancing".The props and costumes of Xiushan lanterns are beautiful,the dance posture is graceful and graceful,the melody is very euphemistic,and the unique performance customs.It has a long history and has been hundreds of years of history.Xiushan lanterns are created by Xiushan people in their daily production and life,according to the actual production situation,combined with the specific spiritual entertainment needs.It is not only a form of performance,but also contains the precious spiritual value of the people of Xiushan.Xiushan lanterns carry the cultural value and spiritual vision of the people of Xiushan,and are the cultural memory of the Xiushan Tujia and Miao ethnic minorities and the Han nationality.In reality,the author often finds that the history course teaching is a simple lecture,and the teachers only teach the knowledge from the books to the students.Excellent teachers may be humorous in class,and some students prefer to listen to the lecture.The contents in the history books are often far away from us.Students with better economic conditions may travel more and have a deeper experience of the historical materials displayed in the history books.Few teachers integrate the excellent culture around us into our history course teaching,so that the excellent culture around them becomes the carrier of cultivating middle school students’ "feelings" of home and country.There is a kind of guarding the gold and silver mountains begging for food feeling.The author believes that it has three significance to integrate Xiushan lanterns into the cultivation of middle school students’ feelings of home and country.First,Xiushan lanterns can make history teaching three-dimensional.Xiushan lanterns have a strong uniqueness and non-transferability.Xiushan lantern culture is difficult to replicate or migrate in other places outside time and space.Xiushan lantern
