| The Outline of the National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)clearly puts forward that in talent training,we should pay attention to the unity of knowledge and practice,adhere to the combination of education and teaching with productive labor and social practice,develop practical courses and activity courses,enhance the effectiveness of students ’ scientific experiments,production practice and skill training,and pay attention to students ’ practical skills and hands-on ability.The ’Ordinary High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)’ promulgated by the Ministry of Education also clearly states that geographical practice activities are not only an important way of geography teaching,but also an effective means to cultivate students ’geographical practice ability.Geography textbook is an important carrier to implement the cultivation of geography practice ability.The research on the content of geography practice activities in geography textbooks can improve teachers ’ grasp and understanding of the content of activities in textbooks,which is not only conducive to improving the quality of geography practice teaching,but also conducive to improving students ’ geography practice ability.Based on the theory of " learning by doing," " integration of teaching and doing," "information processing learning " and " embodied cognition," this paper takes the first volume of geography compulsory textbook of People ’s Education Press in 2019 as the research object.By using the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,textbook analysis,expert consultation and case analysis,this paper analyzes the content of geography 1textbook and questionnaire survey in senior high school,puts forward the types of geography practice activities,points out the existing problems in geography practice activities in senior high school,and takes " moon phase observation activities " as an example.Taking Class(10)and Class(11)of Hainan Qiaozhong Senior High School as the research object,the teaching research of geographical practice activities is carried out.Combined with the requirements of geography curriculum standards,the content of high school geography 1 textbook teaching is systematically sorted out.It is believed that the types of geographical practice activities of high school geography 1 can be divided into geographical experiments from the form of activities.Problem analysis class;investigation observation class;geographic mold making class;case analysis class;geographical survey category;drawing filling and chart thinking activities.The results of statistical analysis of student questionnaires and teacher questionnaires show that :(1)Teachers and students have a vague understanding of geographical practice activities;(2)At present,there are few practical activities in high school geography;(3)The teaching and research strength of geography teachers ’ geographical practice activities is weak.(4)Even if there are geographical practice activities,most of the design of the program ignores the main position of students,and the activity evaluation mechanism is not perfect.The evaluation results after the practical teaching of " Lunar Phase Observation Activity" show that :(1)The independent sample T test P = 0.00 < 0.05 of the test results of the experimental class and the control class shows that there is a significant difference between the two classes.The results of the experimental class are significantly higher than those of the control class.(2)Students ’ interest in learning has been significantly improved after participating in geographical practice activities;(3)Compared with the traditional geography teaching,geography practice can effectively improve the level of students ’geography practice.This study also shows that establishing the concept of geographical practice activities,optimizing geography curriculum resources,enriching the content of activities,and designing activity plans with students as the main body are the premises to ensure the better development of geographical practice activities. |
