With the deep integration of modern information technology and education,online learning has attracted more and more teachers and students with its diversified high-quality resources,self-paced learning methods and other advantages,and gradually become an essential way of learning in higher education.However,the separation between teachers and students in online learning puts forward higher requirements for learners’ self-management ability and self-regulation learning ability.In the learning process,learners are difficult to grasp individual learning situation and evaluate learning effect,and cannot feel humanistic care and emotional communication.At the same time,educational practice shows that there are always risks of online learning,such as low participation in learning,low quality of homework and failing grades.Therefore,effective online learning strategies and tools are needed to help learners succeed.A large number of studies have proved that the learning analysis dashboard is effective in visualizing the learning process and results,warning and intervening academic risks.Therefore,this study explores how the learning analysis dashboard regulates and governs online academic risks.Starting from the effect of learning analysis dashboard regulating online academic risk,this study sorted out the relevant research results of learning analysis dashboard and online academic risk,combined with the theory of information visualization,technology acceptance model and dual coding theory,and summarized the influencing factors of learning analysis dashboard regulating online academic risk.Therefore,the structural equation model of learning analysis dashboard regulating online academic risk is constructed.At the same time,a questionnaire was compiled based on existing research results and educational practices,and an empirical study was conducted based on the online learning platform for a period of 14 weeks.Each learner was provided with a learning analysis dashboard and personalized guidance every week as a metacognitive tool to support online learning.Finally,a questionnaire on the use effect of the learning analysis dashboard was issued to learners.Spss24.0 and Amos24.0 were used to test the reliability,validity and fit degree of the learning analysis dashboard to adjust the online academic risk structural equation model,and to analyze the route effect and intermediary effect in the model.The results show that the learning analysis dashboard plays a significant role in promoting learners’ positive behavior change,and can effectively prevent online academic risks.Among them,information visualization of learning analysis dashboard indirectly predicts learners’ perceived usefulness through learners’ perceived ease of use,and then has a positive effect on the understanding level and promotes learners’ behavior change.Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness play a partial mediating role between information visualization and understanding degree,and understanding degree plays a partial mediating role between perceived usefulness and behavior change,but information visualization has no significant effect on the perceived usefulness of learning analysis dashboard.Finally,based on the results of the structural equation model analysis of learning analysis dashboard to adjust the risk of online learning,the author puts forward some suggestions on the design of learning analysis dashboard from the following three aspects:(1)focus on learners’ goal orientation;(2)Improve learners’ trust in the learning analysis dashboard;(3)Reinforcing goal-oriented information design to support learner behavior.The Learning Analysis Dashboard provides the possibility for the whole process of online learning and personalized evaluation,which can enhance the online learning experience and contribute to academic success.
