| The General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition Revised2020)states that using curriculum content that meets students’ present and future learning,working,and living needs,and through rich and varied practical geography activities in authentic contexts,students can develop core literacies in geography such as paying attention to local,national,and global geographic issues.The development and application of local geography curriculum resources not only help guide students to pay attention to local issues and establish the concept of harmony between human beings and nature,but also cultivate students’ scientific consciousness and national sentiment,which is an effective way to cultivate students’ core literacy in geography.Through the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and case study,we study the main contents,teaching status and practice path of local geography curriculum resources in Xi County,stimulating students’ interest in learning geography and revitalizing high school geography teaching,and the main research contents and results are as follows.Firstly,the theories related to the development and application of vernacular geography resources are sorted out.First of all,carefully study the high school geography curriculum standards,which propose to cultivate the four essential geography core literacies of students,and explore the integration point of geography core literacy cultivation such as geography practicality and regional cognition based on the practical and regional characteristics of vernacular geography,and the development of vernacular geography resources.Secondly,we study the connotation of contextual learning theory and explore its relationship with the development and application of vernacular geography resources.Secondly,the development strategy of local geography resources in high school geography teaching in Xi County.On the one hand,combing 24 available natural landscapes,human landscapes and other native geographical resources in Xi County.On the other hand,on the basis of the established development principles,the development strategies of vernacular geography resources are constructed: strengthening the training related to the development of vernacular geography resources;encouraging teachers to write vernacular geography teaching materials;constructing a vernacular geography resource library;and creating a base for research and study tours of vernacular geography practice activities.Thirdly,the application program of vernacular geography resources in high school geography teaching in Xi County.Formulate and implement the application program of native geography resources,and develop two types of native geography resources application cases: one is the field trip type native geography resources application case;the other is the theory teaching type native geography resources application case.Through the research on the development and application of local geography curriculum resources in high school geography teaching,this thesis concludes that the development and utilization of local geography curriculum resources plays an important role in the physical and mental development of high school students in Xi County.The major features are: cultivating high school students’ sense of home and country;establishing the ecological concept of "green and green mountains are the golden mountains";cultivating citizens’ cultural self-confidence. |
