Professional development of teachers has become a world consensus. Instead of teaching based on the experience of vocational teachers, they turn to professional, which calls for high-quality teachers who are not only equipped with knowledge, but also ethics, ideals, professional pursuit. Teachers should start from the high starting point, and are willing to devote themselves to lifelong learning. Meanwhile, they tend to be self-renewal continuously; they are experts in teaching as well as academic experts .It is an important issue to concern professional development of teachers, be acutely sensitive to this change, seize opportunities, and meet challenges for the education sector at all levels, the general colleges, colleges of education and school principals, and teachers to face.A secondary political teacher shoulders the tasks to nurture qualified personnel for economic development of the new round , and plays a very important role in perfecting the qualities and knowledge structure of ideological and political talents. Therefore, teachers must conform to the development of the era of history, progress with the times and upgrade their quality, and possess excellent skills, so as to cope with the mission and requirements endowed by the new educational reforms.This paper explores the educational specialization of teachers in secondary schools and teachers'professional development for politics teachers.
