Physical fitness is the "ticket" for the battlefield.While the combat effectiveness of the modern air force has been greatly improved,it has intensified the difficulty,complexity,and confrontation of air force pilots’ flight training and combat.For the Air Force cadets in the new training stage,it is necessary to quickly improve the basic physical fitness level and build a solid foundation for becoming an Air Force pilot in the future.The new generation of "Military Sports Training Program" highly regulates the overall goals of military sports training for the whole army,improving military physical fitness,realizing sports skills and adapting to the battlefield.There have been breakthroughs in training methods,techniques,and programs.This study adopts literature review method,expert interview method,experiment method,mathematical statistics method and other research methods to explore and verify the effect of8-week versa climber training on the basic physical performance of pilot students in the new training stage of the Air Force,to improve the quality of Chinese aviation pilot students.The basic body can provide new methods,new technologies,and new solutions.Through experimentation,this study obtained the following results:Versa climber training has significantly improved the performance of pull-ups(P=0.00);the performance of sit-ups has been significantly improved(P=0.00);the performance of30m×2 snake running has been significantly improved Very significant(P=0.00);3000-meter running performance improved very significantly(P=0.00).Compared with conventional military physical training,versa climber training has a better and significant effect on the improvement of pull-up performance(P=0.023);it has a better and significant effect on the improvement of sit-up performance(P= 0.031);there is no significant effect on the improvement of 30m×2 serpentine running performance(P=0.227);the effect on the improvement of 3000-meter running performance is better and has a very significant difference(P=0.00).The injury rate of versa climber training was lower than that of conventional military physical training,and there was a significant difference(P=0.028).After analysis and discussion,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The 8-week versa climber training has significantly improved the results of pull-ups,sit-ups,30m×2 snake run and 3000 m run of air force cadets in the new training stage.(2)Compared with conventional military physical training,versa climber training has a more significant effect on improving the performance of pull-ups and 3000-meter running.Conventional military physical training has a more significant effect on improving sit-ups than versa climber training.There is no significant difference between versa climber training and conventional military physical training in improving the performance of 30m×2 snake running.(3)In the new training stage,versa climber training has better injury prevention effect than conventional military physical training,and there is a significant difference.(4)Through expert consultation and literature collation,this study has designed eight climbing machine training programs,and is equipped with a training plan of 3×3 training volume and training intensity.After testing,the 8-week climbing training can provide efficient and safe basic physical training methods,new technologies and new solutions for air force flight cadets in the new training stage.
