In unit review,complex knowledge need to be effectively integrated,and abstract contents need to be processed by visualization to achieve the purpose of understanding and application.However,most physics teachers suffer from lack of good teaching methods,which always appear single and inefficient when guiding students to review and summarize unit knowledge.New thinking concrete maps integrate and refine knowledge,and awaken learners’ perception of corresponding physical knowledge by means of diagrams or combinations of diagrams.They can not only remember the representation of knowledge,but also transform thinking into abstraction and intuition,thus promoting the construction of thinking.Therefore,the application of new thinking figurative map to unit review has far-reaching significance.This paper firstly sorts out and analyzes a large number of relevant literature,summarizes the research status of new thinking concrete map and unit review,and defines these two core concepts,providing sufficient basis for the following research.Secondly,the students and teachers of a high school in Shihezi City were taken as the subjects of the investigation,and the current situation of the unit review of high school physics was understood by means of questionnaire survey.During the in-depth investigation,it was found that the current unit review had phenomenon such as "Teachers continue traditional teaching,students’ interest in learning is low","teachers pursue teaching progress,students’ knowledge understanding is simple","teachers attach importance to exercise training,students’ thinking ability is insufficient".In view of the above problems,this paper analyzes the feasibility of introducing new thinking concrete map into unit review,and puts forward the teaching strategy and process of unit review based on new thinking concrete map.The teaching strategies include "step-by-step guidance to cultivate learning interest","timely feedback and evaluation to guide learning direction",and "Use picture elements to improve learning efficiency".The teaching process includes three aspects: "preparation before class","classroom activities" and "reflection after class".Finally,the designed teaching case is applied to the real class.Through the analysis of student achievement,student questionnaire and teacher interview,the effect and suggestions of unit review by using new thinking concrete map are summarized.The results show that the application of new thinking figurative map in the review of high school physics unit can improve learning interest,deepen knowledge understanding,and cultivate scientific thinking to a certain extent.
