A Study On Pre-Occupancy Social Work Evaluation Of CCRC Elderly Care Community From The Perspective Of Meta-evaluation Theory

Based on the author’s practical experience,this study analyzes the quality level and effectiveness of pre-occupancy social worker evaluation work in Beijing T elderly care institutions from the perspective of meta-evaluation theory.Pre-occupancy assessment is an important starting point for embedding in the CCRC senior care community’s whole-process service model.Compared with the traditional social work assessment,the pre-stay social worker assessment is a "prioritization" assessment,which is aimed at the elderly and aims to understand the physical and mental health of the elderly to be resident,rather than the process or outcome assessment of social work services in the traditional sense.Therefore,this study provides a broader perspective for the study of social work evaluation in a theoretical sense,thereby enriching the existing research on social work evaluation.In a practical sense,it points out the direction for the professional development of elderly care institutions,promotes the improvement of pre-settlement social work evaluation,and enriches the practical experience in the professional field of social work.In the specific research,the author first combined the evaluation cases to explain the pre-occupancy social worker assessment of T institutions as a whole,aiming to answer the two questions of "what" and "how to carry out" the pre-occupancy social work assessment work.Secondly,the scientific analysis of the pre-occupancy social work evaluation work at both theoretical and practical levels was carried out.From the perspective of metaevaluation theory,the indicators and frameworks for evaluation and evaluation work are constructed,that is,the quality level of pre-settlement social work evaluation is analyzed from four aspects: "rationality of assessment objectives","feasibility of evaluation scheme","accuracy of evaluation process" and "practicality of evaluation results".It is found that the quality level of pre-stay social worker assessment is high,which meets most of the indicators constructed by the author,which is scientific.By analyzing specific assessment cases,the effectiveness of pre-settlement social worker assessment is first reflected in the accuracy of assessment,which can accurately assess not only the elderly in good health,but also one or more risks of the elderly to be accommodated.Secondly,the effectiveness is reflected in multidisciplinary cross-cooperation,when the social worker assessment does not find the risk of the elderly,it can be combined with other discipline assessment to determine the risk of the elderly,and give full play to the overall advantages of multidisciplinary cooperation.Finally,the effectiveness is reflected in the multidimensional assessment,that is,from the two dimensions of "historical" and "realistic",not only to understand the current health status of the elderly,but also to focus on the past medical history of the elderly.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on this study,and explains the advantages and disadvantages of pre-occupancy social worker assessment.The advantage of pre-settlement social worker assessment is that its own quality level is high,which can effectively assess the physical and mental health of the elderly to be accommodated,thereby providing a reasonable reference for the development of post-stay service work for the elderly.The disadvantages are that the elderly lack initiative,labeling problems and lack of humanized care in the assessment process.Based on the research results,the author provides relevant suggestions on how to better develop institutional care,including cultivating professional talents and professional qualities,strengthening institutional support for the elderly,and localizing the development of the pension model.It aims to promote the development of institutional care in the direction of specialization,standardization and standardization through research.
