The root and soul of the Chinese nation is the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and general knowledge of ancient culture is an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture,which cannot be ignored in the teaching of language subjects and is an important carrier of inheriting and developing Chinese excellent traditional culture.The compilation of the junior high school language textbook of the Ministry of Education has significantly increased the proportion of ancient poetry,and the textbook pays more attention to the function of educating people about the excellent Chinese traditional culture in the textbook,which has put forward higher requirements for students’ learning of ancient poetry.In a comprehensive view,general knowledge of ancient culture will be attached to it.In this paper,we try to take the ancient poems in the middle school language of the Ministry of Education as the research content and explore the teaching contents and teaching strategies of the general knowledge of ancient culture at the middle school level.The first part is the introduction.It discusses the origin of the dissertation title,the significance of this study,and the current status of the study and the methodology used in the study.The second part is the main content of this dissertation.Firstly,the importance and necessity of teaching general knowledge of ancient culture in junior high school are clarified by analyzing the requirements and characteristics of ancient culture in terms of the curriculum,textbooks and Chinese and senior high school examination questions,so as to lay the foundation for the study.Secondly,we will sort out the content of the ancient cultural knowledge in the Ministry’s version of junior high school ancient poetry according to the categories of calendar,officials,appellations,clothing,food,housing and transportation,and make a systematic addition on the basis of the sorting and analyze its connotation.Again,we investigate the current situation of students’ learning ancient cultural knowledge and teachers’ teaching ancient cultural knowledge.Finally,the teaching suggestions and strategies of general knowledge of ancient culture are proposed in four aspects: establishing teaching objectives,clarifying teaching contents,optimizing teaching methods,and improving teaching evaluation,respectively,in light of the current teaching status.The third part is the concluding remarks.On the basis of the summary of the full research content,the importance of general knowledge of ancient culture to the teaching of ancient poetry and to the inheritance and development of excellent Chinese traditional culture is emphasized again.This article takes the teaching of general knowledge of ancient culture in ancient poetry of the Ministry of Education’s version of junior high school language as the research object,through constructing the knowledge system of general knowledge of ancient culture in junior high school,determining the content of teaching general knowledge of ancient culture,and making suggestions on teaching general knowledge of ancient culture in conjunction with the findings,with the aim of providing reference for front-line teachers on the content and teaching methods of teaching general knowledge of ancient culture in junior high school,and hoping that more researchers and front-line teachers will participate in We hope more researchers and front-line teachers will participate in the exploration of teaching general knowledge of ancient culture.
