In recent years,experts and scholars in the field of education have actively advocated deep learning theory.The hotness of the word "depth" has increased,and the pursuit of "depth" in learning has become a consensus in education.We apply deep learning theory to teaching,aiming to promote students’ development in language use,thinking ability,aesthetic creation and cultural confidence instead of blindly pursuing superficial understanding and programmatic application of knowledge.As an important part of language teaching in junior high school,ancient poetry is an important part of basic education because of the subtle and timeless language,meaningful context,and profound cultural connotation.Integrating the concept of deep learning into the study of ancient poetry in junior high school can not only help balance the consolidation and innovation of teaching and education for teachers in this field,but also tie the epic charm of Chinese ancient poetry to students’ study life.On the one hand,it helps students learning base on the text of ancient poetry which is not stick to the textbook text or text symbols.On the other hand,it also promotes students’ overall core literacy which encourages them to pursue a higher spiritual realm.The study is divided into five parts:The first is the "Introduction" section,which mainly compares the current situation of deep learning and the teaching of ancient poetry.Then,it states the origin of the study,the significance and purpose of the study,the existing research results.What’s more,it also defines the two core concepts of "deep learning" and "deep teaching of ancient poetry" involved in the thesis.Chapter 1 is an overview of theories related to teaching ancient poetry in junior high schools in the context of deep learning.The author summarizes the relevance of deep learning and junior high school ancient poetry teaching through the analysis of the foundation and characteristics of deep learning theory,as follows: First,deep learning theory fits the characteristics and learning conditions of junior high school ancient poetry and the direction guided by the new curriculum.Second,deep learning theory applied to junior high school ancient poetry teaching can improve teaching quality,cultivate students’ key abilities,and transmit excellent poetry.Second,the application of deep learning theory to teaching ancient poetry in junior high school can improve teaching quality,cultivate students’ key abilities,and pass on excellent poetry culture.The second chapter surveys the current situation of teaching ancient poetry in junior high school from the perspective of deep learning.Through questionnaires and interviews with students and teachers,we summarize four major problems in the current teaching of ancient poetry: incomplete implementation of teaching objectives,fragmentation of teaching contents,fixed teaching process,and single teaching evaluation.And we analyze the reasons for the existence of the problems: first,ancient poetry is profound and obscure,and it is difficult to learn.Second,the learning environment affects students’ initiative to learn ancient poetry in depth.Third,some teachers’ ancient poetry.The third reason is that some teachers are weak in ancient poetry and have old-fashioned teaching concepts.The third chapter is the display and evaluation of excellent class cases of famous teachers.Taking the classical classical poetry teaching examples of famous language teachers as the objects,we explore the characteristics of deep teaching of ancient poetry from the representative classroom recordings: developmental teaching objectives;relevance of teaching contents;constructive teaching process;profound teaching results.Chapter 4 is about the teaching strategies of ancient poems in junior high school under the perspective of depth teaching theory.The study proposes teaching strategies based on the current situation of teaching ancient poems in junior high school,which are divided into three stages.First is pre-class preparation stage that aims to creating a deep learning teaching environment.This part requires teachers to update their teaching concepts and improve their ancient poetry literacy.And teachers should set learning goals by combining poetic qualities to guide students’ independent learning.Second part is in-class implementation stage that aims to cultivating students’ deep learning ability.In this part teachers are required to systematically integrate ancient poems,link students’ experiences to set up learning situations and explore diverse writing materials.Third is the post-evaluation stage that aims to consolidating the results of in-depth learning.This part requires teachers to innovate the form of homework and optimize teaching strategies.
