| Erikson’s psychosocial development theory proposes that children aged 3-6 are in the conflict stage of "active guilt",and they show great initiative.Children’s active learning is based on curiosity about things,so as to generate a desire to understand and explore.Driven by internal drive, they use a variety of ways to acquire knowledge and build experience.Children’s active learning is a very valuable quality, which plays an important role in children’s growth. However,at present,in the one-day life of kindergarten, the development of children’s active learning quality has not received comprehensive attention. This research adopts the Action research method, through observation, interview, testing and other methods,we learned that children in the top-class in Z Kindergarten,Z City have a low level of active discovery, insufficient active exploration ability, low level of active cooperation, and teachers lack the application of experiential learning theory, adults lack support for children’s active learning and other issues. In response to these problems, this study focuses on children’s active learning, designs and implements three rounds of action research in accordance with the experiential cycle of "experience-reflection-understanding-application".The first round is the experiential learning activities led by teachers, which initially form the awareness of promoting children active learning; The second round is the experiential learning activities jointly built by teachers and children, focusing on children’s perspectives and promoting children’s active learning; The third round is the experiential learning activities carried out by children independently, and children gradually become the main Active learning. After nearly four months of research, comparing the averages before and after, the test results show that children’s active learning level in experiential learning activities has been significantly improved. The study found that: first of all, experiential learning activities promote the development of children’s active learning quality, and experiential learning activities enrich children’s relevant experience.Secondly, teachers can effectively use experiential learning theory to promote children’s active learning, and at the same time, they can use a variety of strategies to support children’s active learning Combining external factors that affect young children’s active learning with their own factors, this study proposes five strategies for teachers to promote young children’s active learning:(1)creating an environment for active learning;(2)reasonably select the content of the activity;(3)properly grasp one’s own role positioning;(4)establishing harmonious interpersonal relationships;(5)pay attention to the differences and autonomous activities of young children. At the same time, three strategies for promoting experiential learning activities for young children to actively learn are proposed:(1)enriching the experience and encouraging children to continuously discover problems;(2)task driven, stimulating young children’s active exploration;(3)multi directional interaction, building an efficient collaborative team. |
