The physical health of primary and secondary school students has always been a topic of concern for the whole society,especially in recent years,a series of relevant policy documents have been issued,such as "Opinions on Strengthening Youth Sports to Enhance Youth Physical Fitness","National Student Physical Health Standards","Healthy China 2030" Planning Outline,etc.,in order to further understand the impact of physical function training on the physical health of contemporary primary school students,this study combines the current situation of physical health of level 2students and integrates physical function training into teaching practice.Comparative experiments are carried out with the traditional physical education classroom teaching mode.In this paper,functional motor screening(FMS)and physical fitness level test were first carried out on 40 students participating in the experiment,further exploring the impact of the two teaching modes on students’ physical health,and understanding the influence of level 2 students’ physical health by physical function training and traditional physical education classes.In this paper,the effects of physical function training on the physical fitness of Level 2 students are studied,with physical function training as the independent variable and students’ physical fitness as the dependent variable,using literature,expert interviews,experimental research,mathematical and statistical methods,and logical analysis.Ten students from each of Class 1 Grade 3,Class 2 Grade 3,Class 1Grade 4 and Class 2 Grade 4 at Luonan Primary School were used as subjects for the experiment,with a total of 40 students divided into experimental and control classes.The two groups of students carried out teaching experiments for 16 weeks(a total of 48 class hours),the experimental class was integrated into the physical education classroom teaching plan according to physical function training,and the control class participated in the physical education classroom teaching according to the traditional physical education classroom teaching plan,the intensity and density of the two groups of classroom exercises were consistent,and the students’ physical health and FMS indicators were measured after the 16-week teaching experiment.Research shows:(1)According to the results of the Level for Students FMS Functional Movement Screening,students had poor functional flexibility and stability of symmetry on both sides of the hip,knee and ankle,and poor pelvic and body core stability.(2)In the comparison of physical fitness data,the experimental and control classes were found to be compared with the control class has improved.in the 50 m,seated forward bend and one minute sit-up items after 16 weeks of teaching experiment.(3)In the comparison of the physical fitness data,the experimental and control classes showed significant differences(p<0.05)in the three test indicators of agility quality,speed quality and lower limb strength compared to the control class after 16 weeks of teaching experiment.(4)In the Functional Movement Screening Test,there was a significant improvement in the FMS scores of the experimental class after the experiment,while the FMS scores of the control class did not improve significantly.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Formulate physical function training integrated into the physical education classroom teaching plan,which can improve the weak chain of physical function existing in level 2 students.(2)Physical function training has a positive effect on improving the physical health of Level 2 students,especially on the,speed and lower limb strength.(3)The integration of physical function training into the teaching mode of physical education classroom has practical research significance for improving the physical health of Level 2 students.
