As a compulsory course at the high school level,Politics and Rule of Law plays an important role in improving students’ political literacy and strengthening their thinking about the rule of law.Through this stage of study,students can have the ability to participate in the public life of society in an orderly manner,and can improve their ideological and political literacy.Young people are in the "nurturing period" of their lives,when their minds are active and need to be carefully shaped and guided.In order to play the role of high school "politics and the rule of law" class,strengthen the guidance of young students should use the teaching methods in line with the laws of physical and mental development of students,from the basic teaching stage to cultivate and guide.The case teaching method focuses on students’ "independence,cooperation and inquiry",emphasizes that students are the main body of classroom teaching,focuses on cultivating students’ thinking ability and exploration ability,and is a teaching method that can promote students’ overall development.and the Rule of Law classroom is also a positive response to the concept of activity-based subject curriculum construction.How to make the most of the effectiveness of the case teaching way in the teaching of senior middle school Politics and the Rule by Law is the focus of this paper.This paper is divided into three main parts to study how to apply the case teaching method in the teaching of Politics and the Rule of Law in high school.The first part is the concepts related to case teaching method.Firstly,the concepts of case,case teaching method and case teaching method of Politics and Rule of Law in high school are clarified.Secondly,the main features of the case teaching method and the theoretical basis of the paper writing are analyzed.Finally,the application value of the case teaching way in teaching senior middle school Politics and the Rule by Law is explained from three aspects: it is conducive to cultivating students’ disciplinary core literacy,promoting the professional development of Civics teachers,and strengthening the value leadership of the ideological and political classroom.The second part is the present situation of the utilize of case teaching way in the education of senior middle school Politics and the Law.Firstly,a survey is inducted on the current situation of method case teaching method in senior middle school Politics and Rule of Law.Secondly,the question and reasons of the method of case teaching method in senior middle Politics and Rule of Law are analyzed from the survey results.Finally,it is clearly pointed out that the application of case teaching method in Politics and the Rule of Law in high school has problems such as the selection of cases emphasizing ideology rather than reality,the implementation of case teaching emphasizing standardization rather than effectiveness,the participation of students emphasizing initiative rather than universality,and the evaluation of teaching emphasizing conclusiveness rather than process,and it is also pointed out that the case teaching is not strongly compatible with students’ reality,students’ practical and innovative learning ability is insufficient,teachers’ case teaching ability needs to be In addition,we examine the causes of the questions from four aspects,such as the weak integration of case teaching with students’ reality,the lack of students’ practical and innovative learning ability,the need to strengthen teachers’ ability in case teaching,and the need to improve the case teaching support system.The third part is the strategy of means apply the case teaching manner in the education of Politics and Rule of Law in high school.In view of the problems and causes,the strategies are proposed from five aspects,including standardizing the selection criteria of teaching cases,improving the implementation steps of case teaching method,enhancing teachers’ ability to use case teaching method,improving students’ learning ability of classroom cases,and constructing external support system for case teaching.
