In the Olympic track cycling events,China has a significant advantage in short-distance events,and has won many gold medals and broken world records in the women’s 500 m team pursuit.In contrast,there is still much room for improvement in the middle and long distance events,and the team pursuit,as the most typical event in the middle and long distance,is a direct reflection of the gap between China and the world in the Olympic Games.The improvement of track cycling team pursuit event can promote the development of the overall project.However,it is found that there is little research on track cycling team pursuit in China,and it is still in the development stage,and the research on scientific monitoring of special training is insufficient.Therefore,this study is an attempt to analyze the changes of physiological indicators and athletic performance of athletes,in order to provide practical support and reference for the overall development and performance improvement of the cycling program in China.In this study,eight athletes in a provincial men’s team pursuit track cycling program were used to monitor biochemical indicators and the characteristics of changes in sports performance during the observation period and special training after adjusting the training program.Multiple research methods such as literature,expert interviews,tests,and mathematical statistics were combined to track and give feedback to the excellent athletes in a provincial men’s team pursuit track cycling program during the observation period and special training after adjusting: through athletes’ subjective feelings 、 biochemical indicators monitoringand sports performance analysis,the effectiveness of some biochemical indicators and the correlation between them and sports performance were explored.The main results of the monitoring are as follows:(1)The serum creatine kinase levels of the athletes during the observation period were within the normal range and did not fluctuate significantly;the blood urea levels were at the higher end of the normal range;the serum testosterone levels were at the higher end and did not change significantly before and after training;there were no significant differences in the changes of the athletes’ 3min blood lactate.(2)During the adjusted special training period,the serum creatine kinase and blood urea levels increased to different degrees with the increase of training load;the serum testosterone level and serum testosterone/cortisol decreased to different degrees with the increase of training load;the 3min blood lactate values of the athletes before and after the adjusted training showed significant differences.(3)There was no significant change in the group chase full exercise performance during the observation period;the athletes’ full exercise performance,lap exercise performance and the number of lead laps all showed different degrees of improvement before and after the adjusted special training.The conclusion is as follows:(1)The observation period training did not produce the benign stimulation to the athlete’s body.During the observation period,the serum creatine kinase content was in the normal range and had no obvious fluctuation,while the blood urea level was in the high level of the normal range,and the athletes did not feel any discomfort,this phenomenon may be related to the high protein diet,the high level of serum testosterone and no significant changes before and after training,and no significant difference in the changes of blood lactic acid in 3 minutes.(2)During the special training period,the athletes’ ability of glycolysis is enhanced.During the special training,the level of serum creatine kinase,blood urea and serum testosterone/cortisol fluctuated greatly.The indexes of serum creatine kinase and blood urea increased with the increase of training load,and the change range of serum creatine kinase and blood urea decreased after the athletes gradually adapted to the training load Serum testosterone and serum testosterone/cortisol decreased with the increase of training load.After recovery adjustment,the above indexes returned to the normal level,which shows that the training load has a proper impact on the athlete’s body,and the athlete’s body can adapt to the training load well.Before and after the special training,the athletes’ blood lactic acid content in 3 minutes showed significant difference.(3)The proportion of anaerobic power,anaerobic endurance and aerobic power should be appropriately increased in special training,after the training,the athletes’ performance of the whole course,the single-lap performance and the average speed of the team pursuit competition have been improved obviously.
