With the deepening of educational reform,more and more attention is paid to the cultivation of students’ ability in the current teaching process.The five core qualities of history discipline not only require solid basic knowledge,but also emphasize various abilities embodied in the process of history learning.The ability of combining history theory is the interpretation of core competence reflected in the quality of history discipline,and it is the necessary ability of history learning.In the objectives and requirements of compulsory education history curriculum standards,it is proposed to let students learn to express their views on history with reasonable evidence.The paper discusses the feasibility strategy of cultivating junior high school students’ ability of combining history theory with open questions.The article is divided into four parts: the first part,mainly introduces the ability of combining history and theory,and the definition and type of open questions in junior middle school,Based on the theory of pedagogy psychology,it analyzes the possibility of cultivating the ability of combining history and theory with open questions;The second part,based on the open questions of Jilin high school entrance examination,analyzes the ability of combining history and theory,summarizes the characteristics of open questions;The third part,on the basis of the previous research,puts forward the feasible strategy of combining history theory with ability cultivation based on open questions;The fourth part,from the perspective of teaching practice,designed to cultivate history theory combined with ability as the goal of teaching examplesOpen test questions based on material analysis questions and comprehensive inquiry questions reflect the openness of viewpoints and evaluation.We can think that open test questions of history are testing students’ ability to combine history theory.
