| Tourism plays a vital role in the national economy,and the service quality of tourism practitioners has an important impact on the development of the tourism industry.Cultivating high quality talent in the tourism service industry is essential to the sustainable development of the tourism industry.Secondary tourism students are a potential talent pool for the tourism industry and an important foundation for the continued success and expansion of the tourism industry.While the sense of meaning of life and life education are the primary guarantee for the psychological health of secondary tourism students,clear life goals and motivation are the guiding mark for tourism students and can lead them to better development and progress.Therefore,this study analyzes the current situation of the sense of meaning of life and life education of secondary tourism students,finds out their problems and proposes targeted solution strategies,combines the concept of life education with the core curriculum of tourism majors,carries out life education teaching practice,and provides theoretical and practical insights to promote the healthy development of life of secondary tourism students.This paper consists of six chapters,an introductory chapter,four main chapters,and a conclusion.The introductory section elaborates on the background,significance,methodology,purpose,content of the study and a review of domestic and international literature;the second chapter explains the core concepts and theoretical foundations,and summarizes and summarizes the connotations of the sense of meaning of life and life education in this study through an extensive review of relevant literature.Concepts about life education are extracted from traditional Chinese culture,Marxist theorists and new age thinking,and three major theories of humanistic learning,implicit curriculum and tourism experience are applied to provide the theoretical foundation for this study;Chapter 3 investigates the current situation of sense of meaning of life and life education of tourism students in a secondary school in Chongqing through questionnaire method,semi-structured interviews and the use of a mature purpose of life scale and the conclusions are summarized and concluded,finding that the sense of meaning of life among secondary tourism students is generally optimistic,but there are differences in individual dimensions,a strong willingness to participate in life education and a preference for special life education courses,insufficient emphasis on life education,the implementation guarantee system needs to be strengthened,and the life education curriculum system is not perfect and not well integrated with professional courses.Chapter 4 explores the targeted strategies for life education for secondary tourism students,and proposes life education strategies from several aspects,such as exploring new ways of life education to enhance students’ sense of meaning of life,attaching importance to students’ life needs and promoting life education curriculum development,building a home-school-society education system and improving the implementation guarantee system,and improving the life education curriculum system and integrating disciplinary expertise.The fifth chapter carries out the teaching practice of life education in the middle-level "Introduction to Tourism" course,integrating life education with professional courses for practical teaching.The last chapter concludes with a discussion of the dilemmas and challenges facing life education for secondary tourism students and future prospects. |
