| The new round of curriculum reform puts forward that we should attach importance to the cultivation of the core quality of the subiect,and geography teaching develops around the implementation of the core quality.The concept of humanearth coordination is a value guide to solve the relationship between population,resources,environment and development,among which,the concept of resources is people’s understanding and view of natural resources and the relationship between human beings.It is an important content of geography teaching and an important way to implement the quality education to train students to establish the correct concept of resources.Current affairs contain rich geographical knowledge,and have the characteristics of times and authenticity which can provide a good source of material for the selection of the course content of the cultivation of resources concept.Using current events to cultivate students resource outlook can not only enrich the theory of core literacy cultivation,but also help to broaden the train of thought of resource outlook cultivation.At present,many experts and scholars have conducted in-depth research on the cultivation of the quality of man-land coordination view and the application of current affairs in geography teaching,but the specific values in the man-land coordination view are less targeted research.By sorting out the previous research results,this paper defines the connotation of resource concept and the level of cultivation,analyzes the meeting point between current affairs and resource concept cultivation,and expounds the man-earth coordination theory situational cognition theory and life education theory,so as to provide theoretical support for the research of this paper.The questionnaire survey and interview method were used to obtain the actual teaching situation of using current affairs to cultivate students’ view of resources,analyze the existing problems in teaching,and propose targeted teaching strategies and design teaching cases.According to previous studies on current affairs and cultivation of resource concept,this paper analyzes the relationship between current affairs and cultivation of resource concept from the characteristics of current affairs: First,current affairs have the characteristics of high attention,easier to arouse students’ attention,and are the starting point of interest in cultivation of resource concept.Second,current affairs have the characteristics of timeliness,easy to trigger the resonance of students,and can provide more suitable materials for the cultivation of resources concept.Third,current affairs have the characteristics of authenticity,which is a good material for creating the teaching situation of resource concept cultivation.Fourth,current affairs have regional characteristics,which enables students to have a more profound understanding of resources concept based on specific regions.Through the questionnaire survey of students and the interview of teachers,the teaching status of the actual use of current affairs to cultivate students’ resource concept is understood as follows: First,teachers design of teaching objectives needs to be detailed and in-depth,and students’ cognition of resource concept is not clear and comprehensive.Second,teachers do not dig deeply enough about current affairs,and students have difficulties in understanding.Third,in the teaching process,teachers do not combine current affairs with resource concept deeply,and students’ ability to establish the connection between the two needs to be improved.Based on the survey results,the following teaching strategies are proposed for the cultivation of resource concept and the application of current affairs: First,the contents of teaching materials are comprehensively sorted out,and a scientific cultivation target system of resource concept is constructed.Second,construct the resource database of current affairs,and fully excavate the cultivation materials of resource concept.Widely collect current affairs,and establish a current affairs material database with geographical characteristics.Simplify current affairs materials to present the relationship between man and natural resources.Relevant materials should be intergraded and enriched to highlight human and natural resources issues.Third,creating current affairs teaching situation to promote the formation of resource concept.Fourth,adopt diversified teaching methods to strengthen the understanding of resource concept.Use current events to design test questions to practice,and take current affairs as an opportunity to organize geographical practice activities.Based on the teaching strategy,the teaching case design is carried out based on “Transformation and Development of resource-exhausted Citie”,Chapter 2,Section 3 of the optional compulsory third chapter of the human education edition of high school geography textbook combined with the current events of “2022 Qatar World Cup”. |
