With the transformation and upgrading of China’s industrial structure,the recruitment needs of enterprises have changed,and employers are more inclined to absorb high-quality applied skilled talents.Moreover,based on the reform of vocational education and the environment of promoting the high-quality development of modern vocational education,secondary vocational schools can change the traditional classroom teaching status,innovate teaching mode,and further improve teaching quality.As the core course of e-commerce,marketing and other majors in secondary vocational schools,‘Network marketing’ is an important course for cultivating professionals in business,marketing and other fields.However,at present,while teaching‘Network marketing’ in secondary vocational schools,there are still some teaching methods which cannot fully adapt to the requirements of training modern applicationoriented talents.To solve the current dilemma,‘Network marketing’ course in secondary vocational schools should actively promote teaching reform and introduce new teaching methods.Under the background of promoting quality-oriented education,Project Based Learning(PBL),as one of the effective carriers of quality-oriented education,should be the key innovative teaching method.Based on the comparison experiment between traditional teaching method and PBL teaching method,this paper demonstrates the necessity of PBL teaching method and discusses how to apply PBL teaching method to the classroom practice of Network Marketing in secondary vocational schools.This article mainly adopts comparative experimental methods,supplemented by investigation and literature research methods.Two parallel classes of e-commerce major in the second year of Ningbo X Vocational School were selected for a comparative experiment,with one class as the experimental group and PBL teaching based on projectbased learning;The other class served as the control group to implement traditional teaching.Through specific lesson examples and experiments,analyzing and summarizing students’ academic performance and learning situation,it can be found that the class using PBL teaching method has higher classroom participation,better knowledge mastery,significantly improved students’ abilities in all aspects,more diversified ways of evaluating students,and improved teacher teaching efficiency,making it easier to achieve teaching goals.This paper also focuses on the application of PBL teaching method during ‘Network Marketing’ in secondary vocational schools,including basic principles,basic process and teaching design.Taking the experiment as an example,in view of the problems and difficulties in the process of the experiment,the points that should be paid attention to when using it are put forward for the reference of fellow teachers.When using PBL teaching method,we should pay attention to the reasonable selection of teaching methods according to the teaching content.Help students to establish a good peer relationship,to achieve a clearer division of tasks;Change teaching concept,improve teachers’ PBL teaching ability;Improve the science of teaching evaluation and establish a scientific evaluation system.
