| "Cultural transmission and understanding" is one of the objectives of core literacy cultivation,and is an important goal of Chinese teaching at present.The "classicized" ancient poems selected for textbooks are rich in language,thought and cultural connotation,and are important carriers for transmitting the excellent Chinese traditional culture and establishing national identity,and have unique advantages for cultural education.However,there are some problems in the teaching of ancient poems in senior high school,such as insufficient guidance of the standards,lack of emotional connotation,and fragmentation of the humanity of poems,etc.The goal of "cultural education" has not been fully implemented,and the value of poetry culture in shaping personality has not been truly reflected.In order to improve the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in high school,it is necessary to introduce cultural memory theory into ancient poetry classrooms,and use this theory as a guide to explore specific and feasible strategies for optimizing ancient poetry teaching,so as to promote the inheritance and development of excellent Chinese traditional culture.Cultural memory theory focuses on examining and reflecting on memory from the social and cultural levels,reconstructing memory through rituals,texts and other media,thereby obtaining identity and realizing cultural transmission.Extending to the field of teaching,it highlights the special value of ancient poetry text as a memory carrier for memory succession and cultural transmission.It helps students pass on their historical memory,shape their cultural personality,cultivate their love and identity for the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and enhance their national self-confidence in a subtle way.Therefore,this theory is in line with the concept and requirements of teaching ancient poetry,and has a positive effect on the realization of the purpose of "cultural education".This study explores its application in teaching ancient poetry in senior high school Chinese from the perspective of cultural memory theory.The study consists of five main parts:First is the introductory section.The first section provides an overview of the current situation of cultural memory theory and ancient poetry teaching,discusses the fit between them,and introduces the origin of this study.Second,we define the object of the study and the core concepts of "cultural memory theory".Third,we analyze the current results of this study,which is the basis for the study.Fourthly,we propose five methods,such as the "memory reconstruction method",which cover the research methods used in the investigation,writing and practice stages of this study.Fifthly,based on both theoretical and practical perspectives,it is clear that this study is of great value in promoting the innovation of teaching concepts and achieving the goal of "educating people".Chapter 1 delineates the scope of theoretical research and clarifies the rationality of this study.First,it clearly defines the concept of "cultural memory theory",summarizes the distinctive features of cultural memory such as the medium of transmission and the mode of function,and points out the focus of the application of the theory.Secondly,it is pointed out that cultural memory is facing the crisis of memory deficit,and it is combined with the characteristics and teaching elements of ancient poetry in language,and the teaching of ancient poetry is examined from the perspective of cultural memory to find the fit between the two,summarize the necessity and feasibility of applying the theory to the teaching of ancient poetry,and provide the theoretical basis for the application of the theory in the practice of teaching ancient poetry.Chapter 2 is a survey and analysis of the current situation of teaching ancient poetry in senior high school Chinese,and the induction of teaching problems and their causes on this basis.First,through the summary of the current unified version of the ancient poetry titles and their main cultural qualities in the senior high school Chinese textbooks,as well as the analysis of teachers’ interviews and students’ questionnaires,the objects to which the theoretical study is applied are clarified,and the views and attitudes of teachers and students toward the teaching of ancient poetry culture at present are explored to provide a realistic basis for the identification of teaching problems.Secondly,based on the survey results,we conclude that there are problems in teaching ancient poetry in senior high school Chinese such as weakening the orientation of the curriculum and the lack of cultural meaning,and then analyze the causes of the problems in depth,so as to lay the foundation for the proposed optimization strategies of ancient poetry teaching.Chapter 3 proposes strategies for the application of cultural memory theory to the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school Chinese in relation to the investigated teaching problems and their causes,and the multiple dimensions of this theory.Using this theory for teaching ancient poems means to take the memory carried by ancient poems as the object,to explore the hidden cultural qualities within the text,to develop and use multiple media to promote students’ independent construction of cultural memory on the basis of following the logic of power,and to put the results of cultural education into real practice.In Chapter 4,Su Shi’s "Nian Nu Jiao-Huai Gu at the Red Cliff" from the first compulsory book of the Unified Edition of the high school Chinese textbook is selected for teaching design and analysis.The text contains distinctive and diverse cultural qualities,among which Su Shi’s feelings and perceptions about "life" are effective resources for students’ spiritual formation,so it can be used as a representative teaching case.The design of the case follows the teaching strategy described above,and the intention of setting each link is clear.The application of the case basically achieved the expected goal.Based on the experience in the process of case design and application,it is suggested that attention should be paid to two aspects of goal balance and media application,so as to lay the foundation for further optimization of teaching effects.Based on the cultural memory theory,this study explores the application of the theory in classroom teaching in view of the various problems exposed by the current teaching of ancient poems in senior high school Chinese,derives practical strategies for teaching ancient poems in high school Chinese,explores the educational value of the theory,improves the quality of teaching ancient poems,and is accompanied by a teaching case design and analysis to provide reference for front-line Chinese teachers teaching in senior high school. |
