Mulan Poem is the first long narrative poem that middle school students come into contact with,and it is also a classic of Yuefu poetry.Since 1905,it has been included in the Latest Chinese Textbook co-edited by Jiang Weiqiao and Zhuang Yu for more than 100 years,and it has been favored by textbook editors.Through sorting out the teaching history of Mulan Poem in three stages: the Republic of China period,the fifty years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China period and the new curriculum reform period,and paying attention to the requirements of the historical background and curriculum standards(syllabus)for the compilation of textbooks in different periods,and then summed up the selection of the textbook of Mulan Poem in each stage and the teaching value.On this basis,the author draws inspiration to the current teaching of "Mulan Poem",in order to provide reference for the teaching history of classical articles and Chinese teachers’ classroom teaching.The first chapter is about the "Mulan poem" in the Republic of China period(1912--1949)teaching research.At this stage,Mulan Poem was selected into more than 50 textbooks,including poems,dramas and novels,and involved different learning periods in primary,middle and high schools.The selection of the text is relatively traditional.Curriculum standards pay attention to the ideological value of text selection,"Mulan Poem" will be loyal to the emperor,gender equality,the national spirit and other educational themes and continue to be selected into the textbook.The second chapter is about the teaching and research of Mulan Poem in the fifty years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China(1949--2000).During this period,the selected genres of Mulan Poems were poems,and concentrated in the middle school stage,and the editing structure of the textbook was gradually improved.The syllabus began to emphasize the instrumental nature of Chinese subjects,so Mulan Poetry not only gave play to the educational value of ideological themes,but also arranged the training of basic knowledge of Chinese.The third chapter is about the teaching research of Mulan Poem in the new curriculum reform period(2001--now).At this stage,the editing structure of Mulan Poem has formed a stable unit system,which is composed of text selection system,reading aid system and practice system.The curriculum standard in the period of new curriculum reform emphasizes the value of text selection in cultivating students’ core Chinese quality.Mulan Poem plays its educational value in cultivating students’ ability of language,thinking,aesthetics and cultural inheritance from various aspects such as folk song style,language features,artistic features and ideological themes.The fourth chapter is about the enlightenment of the teaching history of Mulan Poem to the current Chinese teaching.This paper analyzes the teaching cases of Mulan Poem taught by front-line teachers with different teaching styles under the background of the new curriculum reform.Starting from the teaching objectives,teaching processes,teaching methods and theme ideas,it summarizes the characteristics that are different from the previous classroom teaching of Mulan Poem.Combining the teaching research of the first three chapters and the concept of the new curriculum reform,On this basis,the author puts forward some suggestions for the current teaching of Mulan Poem.
