| The College C is a private undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education,China. In order to realize the objective of "Being the domestic first-class applied university",College C has vigorously introduced doctoral talents since 2014.By May 2022,a total of 103 doctors have been introduced, which has made an important contribution to the optimization of teacher structure and the improvement of scientific research. However, most of the introduced doctors have obvious deficiencies in scientific research output.Due to the huge investment in doctoral talent introduction, how to improve the resource allocation efficiency(RAE)of doctoral talent introduction has become a practical problem that College C urgently needs to solve. The purpose of this dissertation is to formulate an improvement plan for the RAE of doctoral talent introduction.Specifically, this dissertation includes the following three studies: First, using text data analysis and data descriptive analysis,it combs the deficiencies of doctoral talent introduction in College C.The results show that although the introduction of doctoral talents is of great help to the development of College C,many doctoral talents have deficiencies in the quantity, quality, and sustainability of research output after introduction.Second, using multiple linear regression,it analyzes the effect of doctor’s personal characteristics on RAE.The results show that six factors including age, gender, years of doctoral study, type of graduation school, research output before introduction, and discipline category, have a significant impact on RAE.Thirdly, based on the above research results,it proposes that RAE can be improved from two aspects: doctoral talent selection and talent treatment. The improvement plan is verified by using the relevant data of the introduced doctors. The results of this dissertation provide important theoretical basis and method support for College C to improve the RAE of doctoral talent introduction. Moreover, the results can also provide reference for other domestic private colleges. |
