Since the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei was elevated to a national strategy,the degree of integration of the production factors market in the region has continued to deepen,and the labor market in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has also developed rapidly under the guidance of national policies.However,due to the influence of institutional barriers such as household registration and social security,the integration of the labor market in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is still at a low level,which to some extent hinders the coordinated development process of the region.The study of the improvement on the level of labor market integration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is helpful in optimizing the allocation of labor resources within the region,improving the productivity of regional labor factors,promoting the high-quality development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economy,and thus accelerating the coordinated development process of the region.This thesis is based on the theories of labor market integration,labor market segmentation,and common market theory.Firstly,it elaborates on the research background and significance of labor market integration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Secondly,it analyzes the internal mechanism of labor market integration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from the perspectives of inducing factors,driving factors,resisting factors,and operating modes.Then,by using the average wage data of employed persons in different industries in the three regions of Beijing,Tianjin,and Hebei,and adding dimensions of non-private and private sectors,the article uses the relative price method to calculate the level of labor market integration in the BeijingTianjin-Hebei region from 2011 to 2021.The study found that from 2011 to 2021,the degree of labor market integration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has slightly increased but is still at a relatively low level.The impact of institutional barriers on labor market integration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region rebounded from 2016 to2021.From 2011 to 2021,non-institutional barriers have a certain restrictive effect on labor market integration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Finally,based on the level measurement results,policy recommendations are proposed.The sustained removal of the impact of institutional barriers on labor market integration in the Beijing-TianjinHebei region should be achieved through the promotion of relevant reforms of the household registration and social security systems.The non-institutional barriers to the labor market in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region should be addressed by cultivating a mature labor market service system,guiding correct employment concepts,expanding the transfer payment method of Beijing-Tianjin to Hebei Province,increasing employment opportunities and improving salary treatment.The fundamental approach to narrowing the wage gap of the labor force in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is to improve the level of labor market integration in the region.
