| The number of college graduates in China has increased from 2.12 million in the 2003 when the enrollment expansion policy was first implemented to 9.09 million in 2021 since it was implemented in Chinese universities.So many graduates have brought the problem of employment difficulties,which has become one of the most concerned problems at present.Most high-level athletes have excellent special sports skills,but they usually lack cultural knowledge,and that’s why they are not exactly the same as ordinary graduates.Compared with PE major graduates,they lack professional theoretical knowledge and teaching skills of PE.Compared with the graduates of their majors,the huge disparity in academic performance and the "contradiction between learning and training" make the athletes’ professional theoretical knowledge much worse than that of other students.Because of these actual situations,this paper puts forward the following research questions: career compromise,as a difficult problem that most graduates need to face in the process of job hunting,how much and how does career compromise affect the employment satisfaction of high-level college graduates?Career compromise has a negative impact on individuals,which has been concluded by some studies.Will this behavior have a direct impact on employment satisfaction? If so,what is the mechanism? What methods can college athletes use to reduce the impact of such behavior? So far,there is no relevant research to answer these questions.Therefore,this paper uses the method of empirical analysis to explore the impact of career compromise behavior of high-level college athletes on the degree of satisfaction,and further explore the role of person post matching and career commitment between them,so as to explore the impact mechanism of career compromise on employment satisfaction and reduce the negative impact of career compromise.This study selected the scale with high reliability from the research at home and abroad,designed the questionnaire,and delivered the questionnaire in Fujian Normal University,Fuzhou University,Huaqiao University,East China Normal University and other universities at the same time,and recovered 196 responses finally.In order to verify the theoretical hypothesis of this study,we use three methods: literature,questionnaire and mathematical statistics.We finally came to a conclusion:(1)Career compromise of high-level athletes in colleges has a evidently negative relationship with job satisfaction,the matching degree between person and position and career commitment.(2)There is a significant positive correlation the matching degree between person and position,career commitment and job satisfaction: there is also a significant positive correlation between job matching and career commitment.(3)In the influence of career compromise on job satisfaction,there are some mediating effects between job matching and career commitment.(4)Through the relevant results,regression analysis,structural equation model and intermediary effect test,we came to a conclusion is that the career compromise has an impact on the employment satisfaction of master of PE graduates by affecting the job matching,and then affecting the career commitment.We can summarize the following causality,career compromise→ the matching degree between person and position → career commitment→ employment satisfaction. |
