| In 2014,the Ministry of Education organized experts to start the revision of high school geography curriculum standards,and issued the "General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" in 2018,and released the revised version in 2020.The curriculum concept of the 2017 general high school geography curriculum standard pointed out that the core literacy should be used as the guide to improve the geography curriculum,teaching and evaluation.It requires more attention to the educational value of the textbook and the promotion of active textbook content in the compilation of textbooks.After the new version of the curriculum standards was promulgated,the geography textbook also started the process of writing the new version.The "Activities" column of the People’s Education Edition is an important carrier to promote the development of students’ core literacy and teachers’ effective teaching.Taking into account the short use time of the new textbook,this article analyzes the "activity" column of the new textbook,conducts empirical investigations to understand the current situation and problems of frontline teachers using the new textbook activity column,and proposes corresponding strategies for frontline teachers based on the teaching theory and survey results.This article selects the optional compulsory 1 "Physical Geography Foundation" of the People’s Education Edition as the research object,and analyzes and sorts out the"Activities" column of the optional compulsory 1 of the People’s Education Edition.On the basis of previous scholars’ research,combined with educational teaching theory and geography curriculum standards,the content arrangement,type division,literacy level and characteristic functions of the "Activities" column of the People’s Education Edition are summarized.In order to understand the problems in the teaching practice of the "Activity"column,this article participated in the questionnaire survey and interview methods to investigate teachers and students.The survey showed that the teaching design of the"Activity" column of the new textbook is tight in teaching design,curriculum scheduling,and teaching methods and has problems such as single evaluation.Finally,combined with the previous analysis of the textbooks and the investigation and analysis of the problems in the teaching practice of the "Activity" column,this paper proposes the teaching strategy of the "Activity" column:First,optimize the question design of the "Activity" column,design pre-questions or extend the question chain in combination with the specific "Activity" column content,and guide students to carry out in-depth construction.The second is to improve and transform the situation of the"Activity" column to provide students with an interactive,real-time and real learning situation,making it more suitable for actual teaching.The third is to adjust the teaching order of the "Activity" column,and place the "Activity" column at the introduction or at the end of the chapter,making it the basis for building students’ knowledge framework and thinking mode,and improving teaching efficiency.The fourth is to integrate the teaching objectives of the "activity" column and play the guiding role of the teaching objectives.The fifth is to realize the process and diversification of "activity" teaching evaluation.In addition,this paper selects the specific "Activity" column "Understanding the Impact of Dam Construction on the Natural Geographical Environment" for teaching case design,implementation and reflection evaluation to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed teaching strategy. |
