In Chinese language teaching,reading teaching is the foundation and the most crucial teaching section of the entire Chinese language teaching.To some extent,the effectiveness of Chinese teaching depends on the effectiveness of reading teaching.The reading ability of students is the foundation of all language skills,and is also the most important concern for students and parents.From the perspective of students,reading novels in groups can not only broaden their horizons,develop their thinking,but also stimulate their creative potential.The learning task list has characteristics such as overall goals and open content,which can promote the achievement of teaching objectives for reading novels in groups.Through resource platforms such as CNKI,the article combed the literature on the teaching of novel reading,group text reading,and task list design in China,and selected four representative group text reading task lists for the third learning period of novels.Combining in-depth interviews with four teachers in ZP Primary School,the article conducted a systematic study on the design of the task list for group text reading learning for primary school Chinese novels.Research has found that the task list design for primary school Chinese novel group reading learning aims to cultivate students’ novel reading literacy and improve their independent exploration ability;Enhance teachers’ awareness of novel style and promote their professional growth;Bringing into play the teaching value of novels and creating efficient reading have unique values.The research believes that when designing a novel group task list,it needs to be based on curriculum standards,novel text characteristics,and specific learning situations,including basic information,learning guides,learning tasks,problem design,auxiliary resources,and learning reflection.Of course,in the specific design,teachers also need to make clear that the learning task list will inevitably promote the change of teaching form,and let students’ independent cooperative learning become the dominant.In this process,the role of teachers has also changed from lecturer to designer,ultimately promoting the continuous improvement of students’ quality.Research has found that in the design of task lists for novel group reading,there are common problems such as improper grasp of learning objectives,poor connection of learning tasks,lack of guidance on learning methods,and inadequate evaluation of learning.The reasons may be related to teachers’ insufficient ability to interpret primary school texts,weak teaching design ability,neglect of theoretical learning of learning methods,and lack of awareness of evaluation and reflection.To this end,in the improvement of the novel group task list,teachers need to extensively read relevant literature,enrich their own knowledge and theories,strengthen collective lesson preparation,give play to collective wisdom,attach importance to method guidance for students,and especially build appropriate teaching frameworks.At the same time,it is necessary to pay attention to the evaluation of students,give play to the “educational” function of evaluation,and promote the improvement of students’ core literacy.
