As one of the essential basic qualities for talents in the 21 st century,collaborative ability has gradually received attention in the field of education in China in recent years.The traditional form of collaboration in classroom teaching for tourism majors in secondary vocational schools is often "superficial",and students’ collaborative abilities have not been effectively improved,which cannot meet the current needs of the development of new tourism formats.With the curriculum reform,project-based learning has gradually entered the public’s perspective.It focuses on returning classroom initiative to students,fully highlighting the dominant position of students.It is an activity directed by core literacy for students to explore and learn deeply based on authenticity driven issues.It is a teaching model suitable for the needs of society for the cultivation of composite talents in the new era.It can be seen that project based learning is an effective way to cultivate students’ collaborative ability.This study is divided into four stages: literature review,status analysis,research design,research implementation,and feedback.Firstly,based on literature review,understand the current research status of project-based learning and collaboration capabilities at home and abroad,and analyze and summarize the shortcomings of existing research.Secondly,aiming at the tourism major students in the second grade of Z secondary vocational school in Jinhua City,we investigated the current situation of students’ collaborative ability through questionnaires and interviews,laying the foundation for the teaching design framework in the following article.Then,based on the Tour Guide Practice course in secondary vocational schools,the framework for designing teaching activities for project-based learning is established from multiple aspects such as learners,learning content,and teaching objectives.One of the teaching designs,"Practice makes perfect-service skill upgrading," is selected to elaborate and implement the specific teaching process.Finally,collect data on student learning through competency questionnaires,student interviews,and other evaluation methods,and test whether project-based learning can effectively improve the collaborative ability of secondary vocational tourism majors through data analysis.Research shows that the overall level of collaboration among students majoring in tourism in secondary vocational schools is lower than expected,with problems such as low participation and efficiency,and poor organizational and coordination skills.It is feasible to enhance students’ collaborative ability through project-based learning,and through targeted guidance and guidance from teachers,students’ enthusiasm and initiative in learning can be stimulated to a certain extent.After carrying out project-based learning activities,students have a more positive attitude towards collaboration,and have significantly improved their communication and coordination skills during the collaboration process...
