| Modern media art is an emerging art form that has been developed in recent years. It is a new form of art that uses contemporary multimedia devices and digital technology to create art and express ideas, concepts and emotions.Due to the increasing access to multimedia devices and technologies such as computers and the internet, modern media art is taking on an increasingly important role in contemporary art and art education. However, when it comes to teaching modern media art modules in high school art teaching, there is still room for improvement.Teachers’ teaching content is relatively homogeneous, and students have very little access to and understanding of modern media art,and are even less able to experience the full creative process of modern media art.Teaching modern media art can be an important way to enhance high school students’ modern media literacy by guiding them to understand and use media such as cameras, video cameras, computers and online media to create art,and to guide them to acquire the abilities and literacy they should have in the 21 st century. This thesis will take the teaching of modern media art in high school art as its research topic, and the paper will be divided into five chapters. The first chapter discusses the historical development and characteristics of modern media art, exploring its development through three periods: the industrial revolution, the information revolution and the contemporary vision. The second chapter is an analysis of the feasibility and current situation of teaching modern media art in high school art.The author explores the current situation of teaching modern media art in high school art through analysis of teaching materials, questionnaires and other means, and analyses the common problems that exist in current teaching. The third chapter is based on interdisciplinary learning theory, multiple intelligences theory, constructivism and information-based education theory, while exploring the positive implications of teaching modern media art for the development of students’ abilities, such as enhancing modern media literacy, cultivating creative practical skills, training non-linear thinking skills, improving digital technology application skills and building an open cultural perspective. The fourth chapter section uses the lesson The Power of Images in the People’s Art Publishing House as an example to re-integrate the teaching content of the modern media art The Power of Images in high school art and to develop corresponding teaching strategies. The fifth chapter explores the teaching practice of The Power of Images in accordance with the requirements of the new senior secondary art standard and the actual learning situation of senior secondary students. The second is the appreciation of moving image works, which enhances rational thinking and emotional thinking;the second is the appreciation of video works, which constructs life situations, based on students’ interests and creative thinking;and the last is the open and exhibition style video works. On the one hand, this study aims to enrich the form and content of high school art teaching through modern media art teaching activities, and to promote the development of art education and teaching in the digital age.On the other hand,it is hoped that through effective teaching exploration and practice, the core art literacy of high school students will be improved and their ability to adapt to contemporary social life will be cultivated. |
