In recent years,with the promotion of slogans such as cultural self-confidence and cultural power,the country has gradually strengthened its emphasis on the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture,and has continuously issued policy documents such as the Guiding Outline for Improving the Education of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture,the Work Plan for Strengthening and Improving the Education of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture in Primary and Secondary Schools,and the Opinions on Implementing the Inheritance and Development Project of Excellent Traditional Culture.The Guidelines for Improving the Education of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture points out that promoting the education of Chinese excellent traditional culture is very important and necessary,and enhancing the rational understanding,spiritual connotation,and confidence in Chinese excellent traditional culture is the focus of education for students in high school.The outstanding traditional Chinese culture particularly highlights the spirit of patriotism,is full of profound cultural heritage,and demonstrates unique educational values,which is highly consistent with the core quality of political identity in high school ideological and political courses.Therefore,it is necessary to cultivate high school students’ political identity literacy through excellent traditional Chinese culture.Teaching high school ideological and political courses based on excellent traditional Chinese culture is conducive to promoting students to better understand traditional Chinese culture,and through the content and values of traditional culture,students can further understand the connotation of political identity,increase political awareness,cultivate political emotions,hone political will,and standardize political behavior,So as to achieve the goal of enhancing high school students’ political identity literacy.This article starts from the definition of the concept of excellent traditional Chinese culture,including four parts.The first part first clarifies the meaning and characteristics of Chinese excellent traditional culture and political identity;The second part analyzes the internal relationship between excellent traditional Chinese culture and high school students’ political identity literacy,as well as the value of traditional culture in cultivating political identity literacy,and discusses it from the following four aspects: improving political cognition,cultivating political emotions,refining political will,and standardizing political behavior;The third part,based on the author’s internship experience,analyzes and summarizes the shortcomings of current traditional culture in the process of cultivating political identity literacy through issuing questionnaires to teachers and students in internship schools: teachers’ use of traditional culture has a shallow content level,teaching methods emphasize teaching over activities,teaching methods using traditional culture are single,and students’ use of traditional cultural resources to form political identity is not effective,And analyze the causes of these problems,thereby laying the foundation for proposing countermeasures;The fourth part,based on the analysis of the causes of the problem,proposes optimization paths from four aspects,mainly including excavating the political identity resources in the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enriching the teaching content;Relying on the new classroom to improve the teaching methods of excellent traditional Chinese culture;Constructing an evaluation mechanism for cultivating high school students’ political identity literacy through excellent traditional Chinese culture;Improve the teaching quality of teachers in carrying out excellent traditional Chinese culture education.
