For a long time,rural high school teachers have been the focus of national policies and public opinions.Because of the unreasonable allocation of educational resources,there is a big difference between rural teachers and urban teachers in some aspects.For example,the rural teaching environment is difficult,the wage gap is huge,the professional title promotion mechanism is strict,the college entrance examination policy is flexible,and the curriculum reform makes it more difficult for new teachers to prepare lessons,all of which have brought heavy work pressure to rural teachers.As the head teacher of rural high school,the burden is heavier: First,the head teacher is not only the main implementer of class students’ ideological education,but also the backbone of school students’ management;Secondly,the head teacher also plays a role of teacher.He must have some professional teaching level and knowledge ability,and can be responsible for the students’ enrollment task;In addition,the head teacher has to deal with all kinds of complex class affairs and coordinate the relationship between parents and the school.However,with the advancement of the new curriculum reform and the continuous promotion of exam orienting education to quality education,the traditional head teacher class management model can not meet the requirements of the new era,and the disadvantages of rural high school head teachers in the process of class management are emerging gradually.Taking S Middle School as the research object,this paper studies the specialization of rural head teachers.Firstly,taking the disadvantages of rural high school head teachers in the process of class management as the entry point,this paper analyzes the difficulties and challenges encountered by head teachers in the process of class management.However,due to the limited rural educational resources and less training opportunities for rural head teachers,the professional level of head teachers in rural middle schools in China is so low that they are often helpless when they encounter problems in class management,resulting in improper handling.Therefore,based on the current situation of the specialization of head teachers in rural high schools,this study uses the combination of case study,questionnaire survey and interview to collect the relevant materials and data of the research object.Then in the process of the specialization of head teachers,according to the combination of some methods and measures taken by S Middle School,this paper perform the investigation from the professional theoretical level,professional quality,professional ability,emotion and attitude,professional ethics and physical and mental quality.Through data integration and analysis,the current situation of head teacher specialization in S Middle School is clearly presented.According to the survey results,there are still many deficiencies in the development process of rural head teachers in S Middle School,including the lack of theoretical knowledge and professional ability of head teachers’ specialization,weak sense of professional ethics,imbalance of age and sex ratio,etc.Through consulting literature and the development status of head teachers’ specialization in S Middle School,we need to look for the reasons for the above situation,such as,the head teacher’s own sense of specialization is not strong,the school does not pay much attention to promoting the head teacher’s specialization,the government’s service in rural high schools is not in place,the inclination of national policies to the head teacher’s specialization is weak,and the lag of rural education itself has had an adverse impact on the development of the head teacher’s specialization process.In order to better improve the professional development process of the head teacher of a rural high school,I have compiled corresponding optimization measures for the existing deficiencies and defects.First of all,the head teacher needs to build a sense of career development and promote the continuous improvement of professional quality;Second,we should reduce the burden of "body and mind" for head teachers and improve the professional well-being of head teachers in senior high school;Third,our country should strengthen the policy preference of rural education and improve the economic satisfaction of rural head teachers;Fourth,the state actively implements policies and regulations and increases professional support for the work of head teachers;Finally,the country reasonably plan the layout of rural senior high schools to avoid the imbalance of resource allocation of head teachers.Therefore,for the purpose of promoting the professional development of rural class teachers,improve the quality of rural education and teaching,head teachers should constantly improve their professional level and quality,and strive to be a new professional head teacher in the 21 st century with spiritual pursuit,theoretical basis and operation skills,which can help explore the way to help rural class teachers carry out class management efficiently.Therefore,it is urgent to promote the professional construction work of head teachers in rural high schools.
