Abstract/Summary:
After the implementation of the new college entrance examination,various regions will adopt a variety of subject combinations to organize learning and examinations.The new college entrance examination model fully respects students’ personality differences,but also requires students to improve their ability to choose their own majors and careers in the future.In 2019,the State Council issued the guiding opinions on promoting the reform of education methods of ordinary high schools in the new era,which pointed out that the development guidance of students’ career planning should be carried out through the infiltration of subject teaching,the opening of guidance courses,the holding of special lectures,etc.The integration of subject teaching into career education is not only the practical requirement of the reform of educational methods,but also the need to meet the development of high school students’ career planning.In this context,subject penetration needs to become an important way to carry out,and the value of career education of Geography in senior high school needs further discussion and research.This paper summarizes the research status of integrating high school geography teaching into career education at home and abroad by combing the literature;A questionnaire survey was conducted among senior high school geography teachers and students,and the results were analyzed to understand the current situation of geography teaching penetration in senior high schools;Put forward the basic principles and strategies to promote the penetration of career education in senior high school geography teaching.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.the questionnaire survey results of students and teachers show that at present,students seldom get relevant career information through geography teaching,and students’ career awareness is weak and their career planning ability needs to be improved.In terms of demand and implementation necessity,the vast majority of students hope that geography teaching can permeate the relevant content of career education.Most geography teachers recognize the necessity and feasibility of integrating geography teaching into career education.However,due to the various obstacles of the actual situation and the constraints of their own ability,teachers seldom implement infiltration in actual teaching.2.based on the problems reflected in the current survey,it is proposed that the penetration of career education in senior high school geography teaching should follow the principles of geography teaching,student subjectivity,development and practice.3.based on the survey results and previous studies,this paper puts forward the following implementation strategies to promote the penetration of high school geography teaching into Career Education: Based on geography textbooks,mining and developing the penetration content;Skillfully use the first lesson to stimulate professional awareness and vision;Closely follow the knowledge teaching and flexibly select teaching methods;Relying on geographical theme activities,promote information collection and analysis;Expand extracurricular practice and strengthen professional exploration and experience;Pay attention to teaching evaluation and feed back the practical effect of career education.At the same time,it puts forward the guarantee strategies for the penetration of career education in high school geography teaching:schools should play a functional role,teachers should improve their own literacy,and parents should support career education.The three cooperate to form a synergy,providing guarantee for the smooth development of the penetration of career education in high school geography teaching.
