Research On The Interactive Relationship Between Social Work Stations And Communities From The Perspective Of Resource Dependenc

In the context of "strengthening the modernization of grass-roots governance system and governance capacity",the booming construction of social work stations in towns(streets)across the country is of great significance to improving people’s livelihood and consolidating the foundation of national governance system and governance capacity.At present,most of the academic research on the construction of social work stations focuses on the construction strategies and problems of social work stations,and pays less attention to the interaction between social work stations and the outside world.This paper mainly focuses on the interaction between social work stations and the community.From the perspective of resource-dependent theory,we will conduct a case study on H community social work stations by using data collection methods such as participatory observation and semi-structured interview.Through research found that social workers in credibility resources,material resources,human resources and information resources has a strong dependence on the community,in contrast,H community for social worker dependence is relatively weak,the community mainly in professional services,response to policy and administrative affairs assistance on social workers,therefore,the two sides have asymmetric dependence.This asymmetry has a certain impact on the social worker station with weak dependence.In this case,this paper analyzes three main reasons: first,the unequal resources;the substituability of resources;and the management mode of excessive intervention.Therefore,social work stations need to take measures as soon as possible to change their weak position in resources,get rid of resource dependence or reduce the degree of resource dependence,so as to pursue the development of the organization itself.In view of this,this study puts forward the corresponding optimization path for social work stations: first,to improve their key resources and create professional services;second,to strengthen the publicity of social work services and enhance the influence of social work stations;third,to broaden resource channels and reduce asymmetric dependence;fourth,to avoid formalization and maintain the professionalism of social work.Through this study,it is hoped that the interaction between the social work station and the community can be more benign,boost the process of the modernization of the governance capacity of the grassroots community governance system in China,and promote the localized development of social work.
