The rapid development of network information technology drives the close combination of information technology and teaching,enriches the teaching methods and means,expands the transmission of knowledge and information,stimulates the learning motivation and interest of students at all levels,and achieves a better course learning effect.In this paper,the flipped classroom teaching model based on SPOC is applied to table tennis elective courses in colleges and universities,and compared with the traditional teaching model,the teaching effect of this teaching model in table tennis teaching is explored.The application of the flipped classroom teaching model based on SPOC to table tennis elective course teaching in Shanghai Normal University is taken as the research object.By using research methods such as literature,mathematical statistics,questionnaire,expert interview,experiment and measurement,80 male students in two table tennis elective classes for undergraduates of grade 2020 are divided into experimental class(40 students)and control class(40 students).The control class gives regular table tennis lessons.Spoc-based flipped classroom teaching mode was adopted for table tennis teaching in the experimental class,and the teaching experiment intervention lasted for 16 weeks and 32 class hours.The experimental pre-test and post-test of the same content were conducted on the two classes.SPSS software was used to conduct independent sample and paired sample T test on the experimental data.1.Before and after the experiment,students in the experimental class showed significant differences in physical fitness: 1000 m,1 minute rope skipping and 30 seconds touching the platform(p < 0.05),while there was no significant difference in standing long jump(p > 0.05).In terms of table tennis skills,there were significant differences between forehand attack standard,forehand attack skill evaluation,backhand push block standard and backhand push block skill evaluation(p < 0.05).Subjective criteria,behavioral control,emotional experience,showed significant differences(p < 0.05),while behavioral cognition,behavioral intention,behavioral attitude,behavioral habit,goal attitude,no significant differences(p > 0.05).2.Before and after the experiment,the physical quality of the students in the control class showed a significant difference at 1000 meters(p < 0.05),while there was no significant difference in standing long jump,one-minute rope skipping and touching platform in 30S(p > 0.05).In terms of table tennis skills,there were significant differences between the standard of forehand attack,the standard of forehand attack,the standard of backhand push and backhand block(p < 0.05).In terms of attitude to exercise,there were no significant differences in subjective standards,behavioral control,emotional experience,behavioral cognition,behavioral intention,behavioral attitude,behavioral habit,and goal attitude(p > 0.05).3.After the experiment,the comparison between the experimental class and the control class: physical fitness: 1000 meters,1 minute rope skipping,30 seconds or so to touch the stage showed significant differences(p < 0.05).There was no significant phase difference in standing long jump(p < 0.05).Table tennis skills: there were significant differences between the standard of forehand attack and the evaluation of forehand attack skills(p < 0.05);Exercise attitude: subjective standard,behavioral control and emotional experience showed significant differences(p < 0.05).Research conclusion:1.Compared with the traditional classroom teaching mode,the Spoc-based flipped classroom teaching mode extends the online platform learning and discussion to offline,enlivens the classroom atmosphere,enhances students’ enthusiasm for exercise,and significantly improves students’ endurance and agility.But there was no significant difference in strength quality.2.Compared with traditional classroom teaching mode,the flipped classroom teaching mode based on SPOC helps students establish a correct representation of motor skills through online platform learning,and carries out benign interaction and targeted exercises between teachers and students during online class,which significantly improves the standard of table tennis skills and performance in technical evaluation.3.The flipped classroom teaching based on SPOC respects individual differences,improves students’ subjectivity and interaction between teachers and students,and improves students’ subjective standards,sense of behavioral control and emotional experience in exercise attitude;However,due to the short time span of the experiment,students’ behavioral cognition,behavioral intention,behavioral attitude,behavioral habit and goal attitude did not significantly improve.
