| The report on the Party’s 20 th National Congress proposes to fully implement the Party’s educational policy,carry out the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue,train socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physical fitness,the United States and labor,accelerate the construction of a high-quality education system,develop quality-oriented education,and promote equality in education.In the Curriculum Standards of Physical Education and Health for Compulsory Education(2022 edition),it is also emphasized that each curriculum should focus on cultivating students’ core literacy,and the curriculum content and organizational form should be optimized based on the core literacy.The implementer of physical education and health curriculum is physical education teacher,who plays a dominant position in the process of cultivating students’ core qualities.This has brought greater challenges to physical education teachers and physical education in the new era.What core qualities should physical education teachers possess in order to adapt to the development of physical education in the new era? Under the background of new curriculum standard,constructing the index of core literacy structure plays an important role in improving one’s own core literacy.The development of core literacy has become the focus of current research.Based on the Curriculum Standards of Physical Education and Health in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),this study focuses on the problems and constraints in the construction and development of core literacy indicators of rural physical education teachers,as well as how to improve them.To provide reference and guidance for rural primary and secondary school physical education teachers to improve the core quality of the relevant research.Based on the core literacy theory,teacher professional development theory and lifelong education theory,this study takes the core literacy of physical education teachers in rural primary and secondary schools as the research object,and adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,mathematical statistics and logical analysis.Firstly,the structure index of PE teachers’ core literacy is constructed,that is,this paper establishes four first-level indexes of teacher ethics,professional knowledge and ability,educational concept,professional affection,and 20second-level indexes of ideological and political literacy,PE theoretical knowledge,PE training ability,teaching design and implementation,lifelong learning,etc.Secondly,we investigate the current situation of the core literacy of rural primary and secondary school physical education teachers in Jinzhong City.Through the investigation,we find the deficiencies in the teacher ethics,professional knowledge and ability,educational concept and professional affection of rural primary and secondary school physical education teachers.Finally,according to the existing problems,put forward the corresponding development countermeasures: from the school level,we should fulfill the management and supervision function of improving the core quality of rural physical education teachers;From the individual level,rural physical education teachers should pay attention to the improvement of core quality and study;From the social level,from the social environment to enhance the core quality of rural physical education teachers to provide support. |
