| With the deepening of the "center-edge" global value chain division of labor pattern,the long-term dilemma of "low-end lock" of Chinese manufacturing industry makes the transformation and upgrading of Chinese manufacturing industry imminent.Nowadays,service-oriented transformation has become an important trend for the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,and countries have emphasized the establishment of new competitive advantages through service-oriented and intelligent manufacturing development strategies,and under the leadership of "Made in China 2025",relevant departments in China have successively issued policies such as "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Deep Integration of Advanced Manufacturing Industry and Modern Service Industry Under the leadership of "Made in China 2025",relevant departments in China have issued policies such as "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Deep Integration of Advanced Manufacturing and Modern Service Industries" to promote the development of manufacturing services.Due to the increasingly rich application scenarios of new generation information technology,the manufacturing industry has shown the development trend from"Made in China" to "Made in China".Chongqing,as a national industrial base,attaches great importance to the transformation strategy of manufacturing service,empowered by intelligent technology to help the manufacturing industry transform and upgrade,and extend to the middle and high end of the value chain.In view of this,this paper takes Chongqing’s equipment manufacturing industry as the research object in the context of new-generation information technology,and uses its data from 2002 to 2017 as a sample to investigate the impact of servitization on its global value chain position,as well as the mediating effect of technological innovation,cost advantage and the moderating effect of government factors in the process.Firstly,the theoretical framework of the research topic is systematically built in terms of theory and literature;secondly,four types of core hypotheses are proposed based on the current development situation of Chongqing equipment manufacturing industry and the impact mechanism of servitization;secondly,the direct and indirect impacts of servitization on the global value chain status of Chongqing equipment manufacturing industry are empirically tested,and the mediating and moderating effect models are built to verify the logical relationship between them;finally,targeted Finally,the policy recommendations are given.This paper explores the logical relationship between the servitization of Chongqing equipment manufacturing industry and the global value chain status from the theoretical derivation and empirical test levels respectively.Secondly,the development of Chongqing equipment manufacturing industry as a whole shows a deep potential growth situation,with continuous growth in total industrial output value,foreign trade,and attracting foreign investment;the level of servitization remains high;and the global value chain land is in the forefront of southwest region.Thirdly,serviceization helps to enhance the global value chain status of Chongqing equipment manufacturing industry,and the positive effect of both productive and non-productive serviceization is significant,among which there is heterogeneity in the role of seven types of productive serviceization.Fourth,servitization can positively promote Chongqing equipment manufacturing global value chain status through technological innovation or cost advantage,and policy factors play a moderating role between servitization and Chongqing equipment manufacturing global value chain status.To a certain extent,this study enriches the research on servitization and global value chain status of equipment manufacturing industry in the context of new generation information technology,and provides some reference value for the high-quality development of Chongqing equipment manufacturing industry and its related policy formulation. |
