Research On The Impact Of The National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone On High-quality Innovation In City

In recent years,the state has made great efforts to build national independent innovation demonstration zones,and introduced a series of policies and innovation systems and mechanisms,with the aim of unleashing innovation potential and realizing innovation-led development through the development of independent innovation zones.Under the background of China’s economic development into the new normal,countries created the set up the body of the city can effectively drive the region to form a high quality innovation,and improve surrounding the main city of narrowing the difference of regional innovation development,and the development of the current construction and layout is reasonable,is has been around district construction development the core issue of her own.In order to solve the above debate,this paper takes the establishment of independent innovation demonstration zones as a quasi-natural experiment,and uses the panel data of 278 prefecture-level cities as samples to empirically analyze and test the policy impact of the establishment of independent innovation demonstration zones on the high-quality innovation of their main cities and non-main cities in the same province by using the methods of dual difference estimation(DID).The main contents include: 1.Make a preliminary test of the model by using differential difference(DID);2.PSM-DID and other methods were used for further testing;3.Analyze the impact of the establishment of independent innovation demonstration zones on the main city and non-main city;4.Heterogeneity test is conducted in terms of the regional,growth cycle and layout patterns of the high-quality innovation driving effect of the establishment of independent innovation demonstration zones on the main cities and non-main cities.The following conclusions are drawn from the empirical results: Overall,the country set up its own district main city high quality innovation driving effects significantly greater than the main cities,after robustness test and endogenous test,create area set up with the principal part of the city’s high quality innovation significant positive correlation,but to a main city is uncertain,the high quality of innovation level and geographic distance on the latter’s negative influence is not significant;In the sub-regional empirical results,the driving effect of the establishment of independent innovation demonstration zones on high-quality innovation in both main cities and non-main cities is obvious in the central and eastern regions,and the policy effect in the central region is greater than that in the eastern region.Both "mature" independent innovation demonstration zones and "growth" independent innovation demonstration zones have a positive effect on the high-quality innovation of the main city and the surrounding non-main city,and the performance of "growth" independent innovation demonstration zones is better than that of "mature" areas.There is a significant difference between the single-city model and the multi-city model on the impact of high-quality innovation in the independent innovation demonstration zones.The policy effect of the independent innovation demonstration zones in the single-city model is not significant,while the independent innovation demonstration zones in the multi-city model can positively promote high-quality innovation in the main city and non-main city.
