As the industrial change continues to deepen, the competition in the high value-added field of global value chain(GVC)is intensifying, and the advanced manufacturing industry located at the high point of the industry has both crisis and opportunity. Therefore, grasping the development opportunity and realizing the upgrade of GVC of advanced manufacturing industry is the key to win the initiative of the fourth industrial revolution in China. However, with developed countries exerting pressure to curb and emerging economies catching up,and domestic development model in urgent need of transformation,China’s advanced manufacturing industry is still facing problems such as insufficient value-added capacity and low-end locking of GVC.For this reason, the advanced manufacturing industry has been extending its traditional value chain, intersecting with the producer services, shifting the value-added link to the service link, and gradually increasing the value-added service in the value chain to become one of the key development directions of the advanced manufacturing industry in recent years. In addition, with the continuous growth of the service economy on a global scale, the level of servitization of advanced manufacturing has been increasing year by year. The supply of productive service factors has different degrees of promotion effect on the value added of advanced manufacturing in each production stage and the efficiency of value chain operation, which is helpful to promote the extension and promotion of value chain in order to get rid of the path dependence of "low road".Therefore, exploring the relationship between advanced manufacturing servitization and advanced manufacturing GVC upgrade will have important guiding significance for the development of advanced manufacturing.Based on the research of related literature on advanced manufacturing servitization and GVC upgrading at home and abroad, this paper first defines related concepts based on service value theory and GVC upgrading theory.Taking the service value flow as a clue, the advanced manufacturing servitization utility and process are analyzed.Taking the improvement of value-added ability as the main line, the purpose and process of GVC upgrading in advanced manufacturing industry are analyzed. And construct the logical framework of the interaction between them.Secondly,on the basis of revealing the utility and process of servitization in advanced manufacturing industry and the goal and process of GVC upgrading in advanced manufacturing industry, the role of servitization in promoting GVC upgrading in advanced manufacturing industry is analyzed, which are product service value-added,value chain structure optimization and multi-dimensional extension of value chain respectively. The process of GVC upgrading guiding servitization transformation in advanced manufacturing industry is analyzed, including service function chain expansion, advanced manufacturing service standardization, advanced manufacturing service integration and innovation.Further construct the theoretical model of servitization driving GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industry and GVC upgrading leading servitization transformation of advanced manufacturing industry, and establish an econometric model for empirical analysis. The econometric model is established for empirical analysis. Finally, the countermeasures for GVC upgrading and servitization transformation of advanced manufacturing industry are proposed from two aspects: servitization promotes GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industry and GVC upgrading guides servitization transformation of advanced manufacturing industry, and promotes GVC upgrading of advanced manufacturing industry in China by developing servitization in a targeted way.
