Research On Tourism Development Strategy Of Changchun Contemporary Industrial Heritage Based On Space Syntax

It is particularly important to protect and reuse the industrial heritage in the context of revitalizing the Northeast China,also known as old industrial base.To Changchun,industrial heritage tourism is important and practically significant for continuing the context of the city and developing the cultural spirit of it,for its geographic centrality in Northeast China with rich industrial heritage resources and distinguished industrial culture.Foreign industrial heritage tourism has achieved a lot of achievements as one of the ways of industrial heritage protection and reuse comparing with China’s which is still in the initial and inefficient situation.Scholars had done some qualitative research on industrial heritage.To facilitate this research,this dissertation divides the contemporary Changchun’s industrial heritage into three spatial scales,analyze the spatial form of industrial heritage through quantitative analysis based on space syntax.On the basis of analysis,the relationship between industrial heritage and cities is described,leading to a reasonable optimization strategy including Changchun’s industrial heritage tourism route,road layout,format distribution and other aspects.In the sense of reference,these strategies provide theory and example for the industrial heritage tourism development of other old industrial bases in Northeast China.First of all,the relevant theories and technological methods of industrial heritage tourism development is discussed by contrasting the development of industrial heritage tourism in China and foreign countries.Through analyzing the outstanding cases,the relevant experience and theoretical support of launching industrial heritage tourism is summarized.Secondly,through data collection and field research,the industrial history of Changchun City and its existing industrial heritage is analyzed.The characteristics and important historical significance of Changchun’s industrial heritage are summarized.By Reviewing the theoretical principles and related technologies of Space Syntax,this dissertation draws quantitative analysis of Changchun industrial heritage tourism.In methodology,this dissertation carries out quantitative analysis of three different spatial scales of Changchun representative contemporary industrial heritage,city level,location level and project level,mainly complete by axis analysis method and convex space analysis method,then summarizes the spatial morphological characteristics of Changchun’s contemporary industrial heritage.Finally,based on the quantitative results of the space syntax,this dissertation proposes a strategy for the industrial heritage tourism in Changchun,including a city-level development strategy of "three points and one center",a location-level development strategy of "four objectives",and a project-level development strategy of "five values".Quantitative analysis and development design research can coordinate the spatial layout of the city,adjust the industrial structure,and promote the development of industrial heritage tourism in Changchun,with respect and protection of the existing industrial spatial pattern.It will stimulate the economic development of Changchun and surrounding urban areas,increase local infrastructure investment,and improve the cultural life of urban residents.It also can provide valuable experience for the other industrial cities in Northeast China.At the same time,it has important practical significance for the continuation of the industrial culture in Northeast China.
