In order to allow the people to enjoy better medical and health services, our country has implemented a series of reform measures on the pharmaceutical supply chain in recent years.Among them, the introduction of the Group Procurement Organization(GPO) model in the pharmaceutical supply chain has been piloted in cities such as Shenzhen and Shanghai. While the pilot cities have achieved initial results, many problems have also been exposed, such as monopoly in the pharmaceutical procurement process, the unclear effect of drug price reduction and cost control. The further promotion and application of GPOs requires in-depth discussions on the impact of GPOs on the supply chain after the introduction of GPOs in different market competition environments. Therefore, this thesis takes the pharmaceutical supply chain in which GPOs participate as the research object, and establishes a quantitative model to study the impact of GPOs on the operation of the pharmaceutical supply chain in different scenarios.First of all,the thesis expounds the inclusion of GPO and the pharmaceutical procurement process based on GPO,analyzes the application status and development trend of GPO in our country,as well as discusses several modes of GPO participating in the pharmaceutical supply chain.Secondly, taking the drug consistency evaluation as the background, considering the price and quality competition between the original drug and the generic drug,a game model is constructed for the two situations of whether to introduce GPO,and the comparison and analysis of the introduction of GPO to the hospital’s original drug and generic drug procurement Impact.Studies have shown that under certain conditions,GPO can redistribute the high profits obtained by the original drug manufacturers between generic drug manufacturers and hospitals, which can not only reduce the procurement cost of hospitals, but also increase generic drugs to a certain extent manufacturers’ profits, thereby stimulating them to improve the quality of generic drugs. Then, taking the classified procurement of medicines as the background, consider the bundled sales of two types of complementary medicines in the pharmaceutical supply chain that GPOs participate in.The game models were constructed for the separate sales of two drugs under GPO without independent pricing authority and the separate sales and bundled sales of two drugs under GPO with independent pricing authority to compare and analyze the influence of monopoly GPO bundled sales on each subject in the supply chain. The study found that for medicines with similar value ratios and a greater degree of complementarity, bundled sales will enable more hospitals to meet the purchasing needs. In addition, the independent pricing authority of the GPO can reduce the price of drugs to a certain extent. Finally, based on the application of market-oriented GPO,the channel competition between manufacturers and GPOs is introduced.Considering the situation that hospitals can purchase from manufacturers and GPOs at the same time,a game model is constructed for GPO separate sales and bundled sales strategies, and the analysis and comparison Under the two different strategies of GPO,the competition situation between GPO and manufacturers and the procurement needs of hospitals, etc. The study found that only when the membership fee charged by the GPO is higher, the manufacturer will participate in the competition;the GPO’s bundling of two types of medicines with complementary nature will help it expand its market share, increase its profits, and satisfy the hospital’s purchasing needs.is beneficial.
