The Optimization Research On Logistics Routes To Germany Of LT Company

With the vigorous and stable development of cross border e-commerce,cross border e-commerce logistics has come to a prosperous age,and its development became more stable and mature.However,stimulated by various favorable policies,the competition in the cross border e-commerce logistics market is becoming increasingly fierce.In order to enhance their competitiveness,cross border e-commerce logistics enterprises need more scientific operation management.Refined operation,cost reduction and efficiency enhancement have always been important ways for logistics enterprises to enhance their competitiveness.LT Company is a third party logistics enterprise,whose main business is to provide cross border e-commerce logistics services,mainly providing customers with direct injection logistics services under cross border e-commerce direct mail mode.This article takes the logistics routes to Germany of LT Company as the research object.By introducing the regional division,current routes planning,and business volume,as well as comparing the operating data of the past two and a half years,it is found that the proportion of air freight costs for logistics routes to Germany has risen and the logistics lead time has failed to meet the KPI.Then,focus group interview is conducted with the relevant department managers of the company,and through the Cause-and-Effect Diagram,it is pointed out that the reasons for the above problems are unreasonable air freight line haul planning and the insufficient good allocations of shipment dispatches and flight schedules.Finally,an optimization solution for the logistics routes to Germany of LT Company is proposed.That is,select the evaluation factors from the aspects of both cost and lead time of air freight line hauls,and score the existing eight air freight line hauls and select four air freight line hauls based on the score results;according to the nature of the goods and the overall network of the routes to Germany,select the flight schedules and to best suit the shipment dispatch times;and analyze the data statistics to validate the result.The logistics routes to Germany of LT Company is of a common model in cross border e-commerce logistics.Therefore,it is expected that the research results of this paper can not only help LT Company reduce the logistics costs and improve logistics efficiency,but also have important significance for other cross border e-commerce logistics companies in solving related problems.
