A Study On The Development Strategy Of Lichuan’s Bed-and-Breakfast Tourism Industry

As an emerging industry,homestay tourism industry plays an important role in promoting the development of rural tourism and realizing rural revitalization.Lichuan City has very rich homestay tourism resources and a strong willingness to develop homestay tourism.Lichuan City regards the homestay industry as an important direction to promote economic development.However,in recent years,the homestay tourism industry in Lichuan City has exposed many problems under the impact of the epidemic.Under the background of rural revitalization,the development of homestay tourism industry in Lichuan still faces multiple constraints.It is of great practical significance to further explore the development strategy of homestay tourism industry in Lichuan.Ethnic culture is an important factor in the development of homestay tourism industry.Existing research ignores the important role of ethnic culture in the development of homestay tourism industry.Based on this,this paper follows the research idea of "what-why-how",using endogenous development theory,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,sustainable development theory and cultural ecology theory to analyze ethnic culture and homestay tourism industry.With integrated development as the starting point,this paper studies the development of the homestay tourism industry in Lichuan City,and answers the question of where the homestay tourism industry in Lichuan City should go in the new development stage.First of all,this paper analyzes the development of the tourism industry of Lichuan homestay.The following conclusions are found: First,Lichuan City has good conditions for the development of the homestay industry,including outstanding natural tourism resources,unique ethnic cultural resources,good traffic location conditions,and strong support from government policies.Second,the tourism industry of Lichuan homestay has gone through four stages of incubation,prototype,growth and rebirth.Third,the current Lichuan homestay tourism industry is developing rapidly,and the market level is constantly improving,but it is also affected by the new crown epidemic.Fourth,the ethnic culture and homestay tourism in Lichuan City have been continuously integrated and developed,forming "homestay + farming culture","homestay+ food culture","homestay + craft culture","homestay + characteristic customs" and,"homestay + tea culture" and "homestay + selenium culture" etc.A variety of business models.Secondly,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the homestay tourism industry in Lichuan City,that is,the level of marketing needs to be strengthened,the support effect of policies needs to be further strengthened,the integration and development of ethnic culture and homestay tourism industry is insufficient,the management ability is insufficient,and there are problems of homogeneous development.In addition,through the analysis of two typical cases,this paper summarizes the experience and lessons of the development of homestay tourism industry in Lichuan City.Finally,suggestions are put forward to promote the high-quality development of homestay tourism in Lichuan City from five dimensions.The first is to focus on improving the level of marketing,the second is to improve the support effectiveness of government policies,the third is to promote the deep integration and development of the ethnic culture and the homestay tourism industry,the fourth is to enhance the operating capabilities of homestay owners,and the fifth is to take a differentiated development path.
